Decent server. However, I was only asked how “everything tasted” after the first bite of salad. Never saw her again until drink was refilled without interaction. Twice baked potato was a quadruple baked potato. Rib steak was well cooked and seasoned, but had two veins of gristle running through. I would have mentioned it to the server, but she never asked how the meal was. The fries were great.

Went for Happy Hour but bill did not reflect that price as we were in the dining room, not the bar or lounge. Did not know that was a requirement for Happy Hour prices.

Only issue was that our first course was forgotten and we didn’t eat it until near the end of the meal. However, in typical Keg fashion this was covered free of charge which we appreciated. Everything else wonderful as usual.

We enjoyed our visit to The Keg on Granville Island. Our server went above and beyond to look after us. Food was exactly what we were hoping for and our table was comfortable and quiet. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will come back again.

Our experience at the Keg was wonderful. Our server Jessica was great. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. After our meals arrived, the kitchen manager Sean came by to talk about allergies and made sure our meals were to our liking. We will definitely go back to this location.

It seems that I got the last piece of roast beef. I asked for medium rare, but this was medium well. The chef came to our table, apologized, and comped the roast beef. That was very generous of him. Kudos!

I've eaten at this Keg many times and usually have a great experience. I had a reservation for a lounge table. We sat at the first banquette, but there was a light over the host's station, shining directly into the eyes of my friend - so we had to move. Server was very accommodating. We moved to another table near the end of the bar - and there were multiple lights facing my friend. Perhaps the light bulbs were recently changed, or the fixtures were cleaned and not positioned correctly, or the setting was wrong ... or?? Doesn't really matter: the Manager needs to figure out the cause and resolve the positioning/direction and light levels of the pendant fixtures in the lounge, bar and entry areas. My lettuce wedge salad was not fresh: a whole rusty patch on the core of the lettuce. I left the rest of the salad as soon as I noticed it and It was removed from the bill Our Server Emilia was very apologetic, friendly, professional and accommodating.

Easter dinner at the Granville Island Keg with my sister and son. I had the 7oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes as a side (broccoli included). Best steak I've had in a long time. Perfect medium rare bordering on medium cook and beautifully seasoned. Server was very pleasant and informative. A glass of Blasted Church shiraz was the perfect accompaniment.

Atmosphere and service were top notch. We ordered escargot for apps and prime rib for entree. Escargot was the star of the show. Our steak wasn’t as juicy and flavorful as we expected but still decent overall. We got a free dessert as a birthday gift, so lovely of them!

We had to wait a long time for each course which is very unusual for the Keg ( one course we didn’t get at all )! Perhaps it was an unusually busy night. We will still come back as management treated us well.
