Celebrated Mother's day here. Great location and nice interior, low lighting. The food was fantastic. The steaks were tender and tasty. They came with garlic mash potatoes, toast veggies, equally tasty. Our service was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended.

We had our Mother's Day lunch. Although I found the lighting a little dim, it was good overall. We ordered burgers, baby back ribs and the ribeye. It was all yummy. Attire is elevated casual.

Had patio dining yesterday. Overall experience is very good, food was much better than my last visit. Quite hard to get the server’s attention from our table in the corner though.

The food was excellent. The location was quite breezy however when we brought it to the server’s attention it was explained that the doors made it breezy. We were not offered a change in seating. We had to wait over and over as the server basically ignored us. It was unpleasant and we usually enjoy our keg visits. We’ll be choosing a different restaurant in future, especially for a special occasion. Very disappointing.

Booth made an intimate environment for our group. Wait staff was excellent - remembered details of orders and repeated when delivering - ie share plates separated, food intolerances. Great attention to detail.

The restaurant Manager with the ponytail is very nice, I was complaining about the croutons in the salad which is like stone hard, he came over to apologize which was nice, at least someone cares about a small issue for their work place. In return he treated us dessert, greatly appreciated, I alway like the food at any Vancouver Keg but not the one in Richmond even I live there.

There was a mouse (rat) running next to our table, we even told the waitress, and she didn’t do anything about it. Imagine eating in a place Where there are rats or other animals like cockroaches. Really bad experience.

The Keg used to have a nice sirloin. It was a different texture than this hard piece of grizzly beef that I was served, and it was char broiled for maximum flavour. This chunk of grey steak was unappetizing even to look at, had nor flavour that I can recall, and since I had to spit out the sinew I couldn't chew after every bite, I sent it back. I was refunded the money but I was not asked if I would like something else. There were aplologies, thank you, but I still had to go without a meal. This has been my favourite restaurant for eons... losing its appeal though. Would I recommend it today? No But likely just a bad steak.

We have been to other The Kegs around Vancouver and Richmond, and this one at Alberni was our first visit. It was very nice setting, upscale and parking lot underground makes it easy to access. The tables are nicely spaced and there are booths available. Our server was a little slow in the beginning, we waited for some time for water and for him to come take our order. Other than that, he was excellent afterwards and throughout the dinner, he checked on us few times to make sure all was ok with us. The prime ribs were great, and appetizers like escargots, caesar salad, and french onion soup were very good. Delicious warm bread and butter tasted very good! Will return to this location for The Keg.

The staff of The Keg @ Alberni went above and beyond when I set up a reservation for 16 people to join for my partners 50th Surprise Birthday Party! From reworking my reservation a number of times to include more friends, to organizing my already arrived guests to ensure we were seated front and center, the hostess really went above and beyond to make him feel special! The manager came by to wish my partner a happy birthday, and handed him a lovely hand written birthday card. Top it all off with a slice of ice cream cake, and the birthday boy was pleasantly surprised and catered to. A very special thank you to Rachelle, our server, for managing such a large table so incredibly well. Thank you to the hard working staff at The Keg @ Alberni!

Keefer the manager was great !! We had to wait 20 mins extra to get our reservation seating , but he made up for it by offering us complimentary appies . The food and service was awesome !!

Server took a little too long to come back after entree. Since it took so long for him to return, and we needed to wrap up dinner, he didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert and we only had enough time to pay our bill.

We checked in at 5 o’clock as scheduled was sat down at a table for two. we sat there for 15 minutes. no waitress came by to bring us water nothing so we left

The floor manager Katie was really helpful and provided impeccable service. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We had a great evening and will definitely be back. Out of all the Keg locations I’ve been to in B.C., this one has been my favourite so far!

We were in town for a girls trip and we had the best service from Matthew!! We had a child with us who was celebrating a big cheer win. Matthew knew how to make her feel extra special and celebrating that win with her! We had an allergy at the table and Matthew was careful, informative and reassuring to ensure there were no issues with the allergy.

Since I invited four of my friends, and wanted to have a good time with them, but the server was so busy , that I had to look for him all the time, to order anything my guests wanted, this was a bit disappointing for me as a host.
