Food awful- salad so wet and full of dressing it was inedible. Servers over worked. Too many tables to handle. Prices do not provide for a good value for how bad the food has become.

Eclectic menu, with excellent appetizer and salad options, plus just the right balance of less formal (such as burgers and sandwiches) and more formal options (including wild salmon oscar and portobella mushroom ravioli), as well as enticing dessert options (i loved the bread pudding while my wife praised the creme brule), highly recommended.

Thank you for such a beautiful afternoon. The three of us ladies get together two times a year and this year we decided it would be at the Nordstrom‘s restaurant. Miguel took impeccable care of us. He is very professional and kind, the food was absolutely delicious, and the white wine was superb. Kimberly, The manager, came out and spoke to us and thanked us for coming. If you want a special meal with delicious choices and unique choices in a nice upscale atmosphere, this is the place ❤️

Really big disappointment. Went for Sunday brunch. I ordered the michelada and my husband got the Bloody Mary. Mine was to come with a shrimp garnish, his with a bacon garnish. When they came out both only had a stalk of celery and the server said they were out of garnishes. Ok, no biggie, we paid the full cost but didn’t get the full product. Ordered the calamari. Flavor was on point and the aioli was delish. However the plating of the calamari was a mess. It looked like a child had simply thrown a handful of calamari on a plate. I got the Benedict with crab which came with roasted fingerling potatoes and a simple salad. The Benedict was good, nothing to write home about. The potatoes were room temp and a tad undercooked. The simple salad was dressed well and flavorful. The most disastrous dish was the chicken sausage with herb biscuits and gravy. It was so herb forward I could not eat it if I had to. My husband ate it but didn’t like it but we were starving and rushed for time. All three elements, the chicken, the gravy and the biscuits were so herb flavored it was disgusting. The chicken sausage was also like chicken jerky patties. They were so dry and chewy. The server was very nice and attentive. We paid almost $100 for brunch that was worth about $35. I do not recommend anything other than the michelada as it was very good, but hopefully you’ll get your shrimp garnish.

My beef dip sandwich was fantastic as usual. Food is so good. My only problem was with the service. Our server walked upon us being seated and said, “what would you like”! I replied, that we’d like some tea and a moment to look at the menu. He brought the drinks and we ordered. Great food. He stood around 17 minutes after he removed our plates and talked to other staff. We finally stood up and I had to ask for the check. People just don’t care anymore!

Classic American food, well-prepared and easy to enjoy. Tucked out of the way in the lowest level of Nordstrom's, walk through the men's department -- and there it is! Quiet, even when full, you can enjoy a meal and hear the people you're with. They actually put the focus on the dining experience and food without making it about upselling appetizers or 1000 calorie desserts. AND the food is high quality basics, healthy without being extreme, so everyone can find something on the menu. Depending on the server, your ability to get questions answered in a meaningful way will vary. Some will mask a lack of experience or training with a basic fact that has nothing To do with what's asked... What's the difference between cuts of meat? received "one's smaller" and "one's tougher," versus explaining differences in flavor or fat content, what part of the steak was being harvested OR even what part of the cow it came from. That said, salt can be a little heavy handed. But their tomato basil wins every time, as does The Best Part of Onion Soup for people who're fans of the cheesy, onion-y goodness.

Beware/ reservations here are sneaky as they do not give you your points. One of our dishes was inedible. Gnocchi with meatballs- avoid it. French onion soup was good. Consistency isn’t here and we don’t plan to return.

We met friends at Nordstrom Grill for dinner. I think people forget about it. I have never had a bad or even mediocre meal there. One person said to leave off the tofu on her dish because she didn't think she'd like it. We encouraged her to leave it on and she loved it. They do not still cook the salmon so that the exterior is crispy crusty (boo hoo) but it was still very delicious. It was very quiet as we were almost the only guests, which was great. Put Nordstrom Grill back on your go-to list and you'll be glad you did.

Our waitress Cynthia made our visit such that we felt like royalty. She was so charming and attentive. She should be instructing others on caring, welcoming and manners! When we come back it will be to see her!

When we lived in seattle and CA this was always a go to for great food and service. We have been repeatedly underwhelmed and disappointed by our last several experiences here. Today there were several tables complaining about the lack of service while many wait staff stood around talking instead of helping customers waiting and watching. The food was skimpy and bad and not fresh and we had to get our own place settings as no one would come around. The place isn’t the same.

Very disappointing. We live in Green Hills and needed to run by the mall. I thought it would be nice to have lunch at Nordstrom since we had not been in a while. I made a reservation for 1pm. We arrived 20 minutes early and were told by a gentleman (manager?) at the hostess stand that they could not seat us yet. Others is front of us without reservations were told it would be a 30-minute wait. We volunteered to sit at the counter directly in front of the hostess stand and have a drink while we waited. At about 12:55, I looked at Hostess #1 and said, "don't forget us". She said she wouldn't. At a few minutes after 1pm, they called the folks that had been in front of us without a reservation to seat them. I went to the hostess stand and Hostess #2 asked if she could he me. I told her we had a 1pm reservation and had been waiting for our table. She asked my name and told me that she could not find a reservation. I reiterated that we had checked in early and had a drink while we were waiting (and spent an additional $25). Hostess #1 stated that was correct. We were shown to a table in the very back corner...where no one else was sitting. I did not want to be there by ourselves. I asked for another table and the server said it was OK. It was dirty, but thankfully the very pleasant server wiped it for us. My husband and I both ordered the Turkey Avocado Club Sandwich. Mine with fries. His with a salad. Both arrived and the bread BARELY looked like it had been toasted. They had put a bowl of some weird yogurt dressing on my plate (no clue what it was for). I asked for catsup for my fries, and they said they were out of catsup. My server came by, and I told him. He said he told the chef on Tuesday to order more catsup (2 days earlier!!) If you are at the mall and want a nice place to go to lunch nearby, I suggest you go to Char or Etch. Two of our favorites. Pass on Nordstrom Grill.

I really did not know what to expect, but I should have. After all, it’s Nordstroms right? The food was wonderful!! No, it wasn’t cheap, but great food rarely is. The service was spot on. It took me back to the days that real department stores had a cafeteria or lunch counter inside their stores. It was wonderful and we WILL be back!

Great godess salad...sounds better then it was if your vegan or vegetarian. Love the ambience of the Grille as it is quiet and not over crowded. Great little hideaway in green hills which is totally over crowded everyday!

Great place for lunch! I had the simple salad and it was awesome. I also had the tomato basil soup which was great. My friend had the mushroom ravioli and she was licking her plate. Can't wait to go back.
