Best Mother's Day Brunch ever! Amazing selection of food including delicious desserts. The staff kept replenishing the selection. Beautiful Day! :)

Mark, our server, is friendly and attentive. Every time we go there it is a pleasure to see him and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food. This time we had the escargot, which has a beautiful garlic flavor that we soak up with the freshly made soft crust French bread. The drinks were tasty. The lamb and beef bourguignon were great, served with green beans perfectly cooked and scalloped potatoes. Their selection of desserts is huge.

Such a nice experience. Staff was friendly and worked together to efficiently serve our large party. All the food was so good, we couldn’t help sharing with eachother. We will definitely be back!!

When we lived in San Diego in the mid 80's, we would dine at the French Gourmet before going to the Old Globe with friends. It was our favorite place! Now that we are back in San Diego, we have found the French Gourmet again and it does not disappoint; the food and service were both superb. Thank you!!1

An excellent, cozy, intimate restaurant with a very chill vibe! It's a great little place to sit down and have a romantic dinner with your love! I have taken my wife out to dinner at this place a few times, and we always enjoyed sitting there, listening to some soft piano music in the background, while sipping a good glass of wine until the dinner is served! Servers are very friendly, and painting on the walls always remind us of trattoria in a little village in Italy or an“un petit restaurant” in France ! We were served by a young girl named Alex, and also a guy named Mark. They were very accommodating and friendly! We will certainly go back there! Last, but not least, the food was delicious! Our favorite local restaurant. We had the beet salad, rack of lamb, crab cakes and halibut. All wee supper. Our waiter, Mark is quiet easily the best in the business.

The food was outstanding, every single thing was very delicious!! The service was amazing and we totally enjoyed our anniversary dinner! It happened to be Thursday date night so we ordered 2 dinners with a bottle of wine and dessert all for $79 and enjoyed every bite!! Thank you Michele for always serving quality food!! Merci!!😍
