I have been lucky enough to eat all over the world and I must say that The Fishery was one of the best meals I have ever had. Everything was top notch- service, cocktails, ambience and food. Tell Michelin to give the The Fishery them stars already!

An absolutely gem! We were in San Diego for just a few days and chose this place for the seafood. Great choice! Highly recommend.

Fantastic restaurant. Service was exceptional. Definitely go if you get the chance. I had the Halibut fish and chips and my wife had the Poke. Both were simply amazing.

Excellent service other than the lack of bone warning. Calamari and poke were outstanding as was my wife’s Marine diver scallop. Unfortunately my $62 spotted bass was nearly inedible. There was no attempt to remove the bones and do to the preparation and darkness of the restaurant I was forced to pick them (30+) out of my mouth. This made eating them with fajitas impossible. The waiter apologized and readily agreed that this is a known complaint that management will not address.

Wonderful dining experience with knowledgeable staff/ bartenders. We are from out of town and were recommended to dine here…. We were not disappointed!!

We had our anniversary dinner at The Fishery this week and they went above and beyond to make us feel so loved! All of the staff was incredible, food and cocktails were amazing, and atmosphere was perfect. We will be back!

This is our favorite place…especially for seafood…..many many visits over years. This visit was not so good. Server failed us considerably..as our food, after appetizers, was delayed..by almost an hour. However each table near us…and seated after us was served. Server said kitchen “Really backed up”…obviously not true…we think he forgot to turn in order…..would have preferred honesty! He really started our visit as a very capable, friendly server…his actions disappointed us! THAT said…General,Manager, Nick was gracious and professional…handled the situation well beyond expectations. We will for sure continue our loyalty to Fishery….exactly because of Nick’s leadership and gracious way of resolving this unfortunate issue. Mary Peck

food was great - good value. Drinks went up in price, I heard it's because of the Bar manager from a La Jolla restaurant that was amazing but I care more about food these days not fancy drinks, that said good wine list. The waiter was scattered, It took a while to get everything. She was very sweet so it made up for it. Oyster, fish, shrimps were perfect

Everything is delicious with unbelievably fresh ingredients! As apps we had the oysters, baja bay scallop crudo and saltspring mussels (these were the BEST! that curry is to die for. Highly recommend getting.) And for dinner we shared the farmer's market pear + beets (super fresh) and the main diver scallop (amazing risotto!) Service was a little slow but we understand since it was Mother's Day weekend, will definitely come back!

The service at the Fishery was amazing! We had a big group with kids for Mother’s Day weekend and they were super accommodating and helpful. The oysters were really fresh and they have a great variety of seafood options. Will book here again!

Service and staff were fabulous. Scallops were very tender, and delicious. Mexican chocolate Cake topped off the evening! Great time!

Great food, great wine. Inside was very noisy. We sat outside next to a heat lamp, which was pleasant. Service was good, just a bit slow. The place was packed. I would go back, maybe on a week night.

The entrees were terrible. I’m a foodie and was so excited to try this place. Swordfish had no flavor and the salmon dish tasted terrible. The appetizer was good (scallop). Also it was cold outside but they were blasting ac and fans so it was cold inside. The service was good.

First time here. Only thing we did not like is the lack of parking. Otherwise all superb. Started with a bottle of the Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge. It went very well with scallop crudo and the beet/pear salad. So much flavor in each. My entre was the sea bass collar and my husband had the black cod. They were exceptional as well. Mind you, the service was top notch the entire evening starting with the adults who mind the host stand. My personal pet peeve is when a superior restaurant has a 20 year old at the hostess stand. Never a good start. Our waiter was the bar manager and he knows his food and wine and cocktails well. We were never left unattended. Finally Sean at the sea food counter was able to score us some crab/shrimp dip before he closed up. We are enjoying it with avo toast this am. A huge thank you to the entire establishment. Cheers

Wine recommendation was way off. Waiter said it was dry but it was sweet. Service was very slow. I began to wonder if we had been forgotten. Cost was more than expected and made me question value. Very noisy, making it difficult to have dinner table conversation.

Food was good, service ok, but not outstanding. Pretty expensive for what you get. 3 people for a taco lunch w no drinks except two ice teas, was $71 before tip.

The food and service by Brooke were outstanding. The only negative is the interior volume of noise sitting inside the restaurant. Brooke made our son’s birthday dinner celebration special and provided excellent recommendations. One of our favorite restaurants in San Diego.

We had catch of the day sandwiches-excellent. Our waiter was Eric-excellent. Desserts for a special occasion were shared among three, all were delicious. We’ll be back again!

It simply does not get better than this. Every dish was perfect. The staging and timing perfect. And the deep down concern and caring in our experience …. perfect and heart warming. Grateful!

Small, crowded, but great food. Lots of locals, always a good sign. If you have a large enough group, try thr Swordfisf steak for 2-3.

Everything was delicious. Wonderful presentations with the seafood tower and swordfish for two. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend coming here for dinner.

Wonderful place for lunch! Celebrated our anniversary with a tiny martini (delicious), absolutely out of this world mussels, calamari, catch of the day (ahi)sandwich and shrimp tacos. Dessert was a lemon tart and Mexican chocolate cake. Both super yummy!!! Staff was perfect all the way around and comped two glasses of champagne to celebrate!
