Derrière chaque grand restaurant de fruits de mer se trouve un entrepôt garni de fruits de mer frais. Le restaurant The Fishery Restaurant & Market vous accueille à seulement quelques pâtés de maisons de l'océan, sur North Pacific Beach.     A little too heavy on the batter on the F&C. Black cod was very good. VERY pricey.

    My wife and I have dined at The Fishery since 2000. We loved the restaurant when the parents owned it and we know throughout that time The Fishery has cycled through several chefs. Being a predominately a fish restaurant, white wine is a staple. In the past, The Fishery feature different brands of Sauvignon Blanc from multiple countries including from Australia or New Zealand which are brighter, crisper and fruitier than the American and French Sauvignon Blanc's the restaurant only offers now - why? We ate the Scallop Crudo for our appetizer which was our only excellent dish. The artichoke crab pasta was overwhelmed by the artichoke which dominated the flavor and drowned out all other flavors. The Shrimp Curry with rice did not have much curry sauce and the dish was NOT flavorful and dry. We do not mind paying a premium for both the experience and the food, but this last visit was not what we have experienced in the past.

    Our meal was absolutely delicious!!!! The salad we started with was super fresh with a lovely dressing. The halibut was fresh and cooked to perfection! Our server was super friendly and competent. All in all, a wonderful dinner and dining experience!

    It's a great spot for fish in SD, and it's definitely a great neighborhood gem. The unique menu has dishes you won't find anywhere else. Unfortunately, the service is never very good. It seems like servers have too many tables. Food arrives before drinks, and orders have been wrong. I will be going back; I just wish the service was better at this price point.

    Like always (25 years) we had a great meal with great service. Don’t forget to ask for Lola!

    Service was fantastic and the food was good. Only problem I had was the portions seemed small for the price of each plate.

    Love eating at the fishery. Food was good. Loved our waiter. Pricey. Like sitting outside but the outside seating not near the building is pretty rustic.
