Join us at The Crosby Bar for a delicious Afternoon Tea. Served on Kit Kemp's beautiful Mythical Creatures Wedgwood china, enjoy delectable finger sandwiches, a selection of mouthwatering cakes and homemade scones with clotted cream and preserves. $75 per person or $90 including a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rosé. Afternoon Tea service reservations are booked through the experience 7 days a week between 12pm - 5pm. We ask that if you cannot make your reservation you cancel your reservation by 10pm the day prior. We have a 5 minute grace period in case you are running late.

I visited The Crosby specifically for afternoon tea. The tea selection and quality was superb. The restaurant is gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated and comfortably arranged. The staff and standard of service is top notch. Everyone was welcoming. We received the afternoon tea tower of food. The sandwiches were bland and the bread slightly stale. The scones were very good! The baked treats were just ok. I had high expectations for the food considering how lovely the facility is. Unfortunately, the food just didn't measure up to the atmosphere.

Overall, delightful experience. We were a group of three. I’m pescatarian, sensitive to overcooked fish, and when I ordered the halibut, asked that it not be overcooked. It arrived overcooked. Would not recommend.

The setting is lovely. Service was just ok. Seems like maybe they were short one person. Food was underwhelming and lacked variety.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea experience at The Crosby Bar. I have had afternoon tea in major cities like London, Chicago, San Francisco, and this is definitely top of my list. Our waiter, the staff, and management were extremely attentive. The food was great, the atmosphere was inviting, and it was all reasonably priced for NYC standard. 10/10 would go again. Highly recommended!

Afternoon tea was lovely, it was like being back in London . The restaurant was lively so if you want a quiet atmosphere this is not it. The service was excellent the food was delicious. My daughter and I will definitely be back.

The ambience for tea was lovely. The food and tea were excellent. It is a beautiful setting. However, the table was not ready at the reservation time and we had to wait, and the waiter only checked on us once right after the food was served and didn't come back for a couple hours, and we had to flag down for our check.

We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed everything, the desserts were okay. The lemon bar was great. The price of $75 without tip was high, though all restaurant prices are ridiculous these days. The only thing that made the price a little more tolerable was that you can get seconds of everything, though we were quite satisfied with the amount of food that was given. Would definitely go back for a special something with friends or family.

I've visited Crosby Bar several times as it's across the street from my daughter's job. The ambience is great, and the service is always outstanding. Yesterday I met a friend first in the lounge area, we were never rushed out, but felt at ease and our waiter was a lovely person. I then migrated to a table to have dinner with my daughter, and the food was so delicious. Some items are a bit pricey, so this is maybe not a place for everyday if you're on a budget, but the experience was lovely. Can't wait till the next visit!

We were a group of 4 for afternoon tea. The tower of ginger sandwiches and goodies was truly awful. Nothing tasted fresh. Stale sandwiches, chewy scones and dusty old pastries. For afternoon tea the bar room is WAY too loud. Service is minimal. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for an afternoon tea experience. Unacceptable and embarrassing for a 5 star NYC hotel. I should add that I otherwise like to Crosby.

The high tea left a lot to be desired. The tea sandwiches were of the level of a kindergarten sandwich and incredibly dry. However, the scones were the best scones I ever had. My server never once came to check on me after I got my food, and I had to flag down someone else to grab me the check.

We have had dinners for years at Crosby. It’s my fave restaurant in nyc. Sadly our fave waiter joseph wasn’t there. Altho it was a busy evening, it took a while to get drinks, have my GF bread delivered (which was tasteless white bread, barely toasted in one side). My soup came w/a tasty cracker that my husband could have but he brought the soup w/o it. The waiter talked up this fish special, which I ordered, then brought me a totally different dish. He initially was going to ask his manager to comp my dinner but instead we just got a free dessert that we shared. It was not our usual Crosby experience. Very disappointing.

Firstly the service at the Crosby bar is outstanding. From the hostess, to the manager, to the waitstaff can’t say enough positive things. The food was great, and the decor was cool. Highly recommend.

The team at Crosby Bar never disappoints and last evening they provided the perfect setting for a reunion of close friends. From cocktails to entrees to carriages, we were well pampered and unrushed. The other patrons were also festive and well tended, making the entire room feel warm and personal.

Love the venue and decor, and the presentation of food. However the high tea sandwiches were dry and most not so tasty; the service was slow and uneven. Not quite the standard I was expecting.

We love your hotel and the restaurant. It’s such a warm, fun and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food last night. The salomon and the chicken were both cooked too long and therefore dry, and the portions were too big. It’s sad to have to throw away lots of food. My starter, an artichoke soup, was not very good and it was too much for being a starter. My husbands sallad was good. A better chef and I would definitely give this place five stars!

Honestly the food was good, but the service from the moment i walked in the door was horrid. Nothing but attitude from the seating hostesses (both of them) and it took our waiter 17 minutes to come take our order. The waiter never checked on us, never followed up. Took forever to get our bill etc. Also on the website it says $65 for afternoon tea but in reality it is $75. Crosby Bar, get better staff and update your website.
