Excellent food. Service leaves a bit to be desired. Everyone comes at the same time so the wait is a while. Also had black pieces in the water.

I have been numerous times to the Cottage and have always had a wonderful experience. I am hopeful this is a one-off bad visit. Three of our four entrees were served cold, the wine was served too warm, the service was rushed and the portions were noticeably smaller than comparable restaurants and prior visits. It was a shame.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal celebrating my birthday. Food and service was great, especially dessert. A bit pricey but it is an upscale restaurant with exceptionally prepared food so that is to be expected.

Food was excellent. Staff with attitude. Upset with reasonable requests and made it obvious. Sorry to ask to bring out the glass of wine while food being served. Unfortunate for that level of restaurant.

The food was good but not great. The air conditioning vents were going full blast with cold air when it’s 50 degrees outside.

Really nice! Easy to park, cute atmosphere, nice service and the food was delicious! Grilled octopus to start and scallops were really tasty. No wonder it's hard to get a reservation! Thanks!

Just keeps getting better and better. Every time we go we find something new and delish. Tonight it was the pistachio sundae. OMG. SO GOOD. Mel is a gem too!

We loved our actual meal at Cottage. The combinations of the flavors was special and unique. The portions for the price are small. We found the service to be average and not so welcoming or warm. It didn’t seem like anyone cared whether we dined there or not. We were seated in a small table near the bar area, which was chic and stylish. Due to space restrictions, our sever couldn’t be so close to us. He didn’t make our meal so special for a $200 plus dining bill.

Mel was our server and she was EXCELLENT! As always, the food was well prepared and presented. We had salad and Bao Buns and between us a hamburger and a lovely shrimp pasta dish. Both delicious! LOVE The Cottage!

Not the best. Average food and annoying music. It was fine, but honestly there are better places for brunch in Westport!

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience for brunch. Menu reads well however the dishes were stingey- small portions for the price charged - shakshuka was miniscule with just one egg in a watery sauce. Sourdough bread was meagre - thinly sliced. It all smells of a rip off which is such a shame as the place is lovely and the menu sounds delicious. Won’t be back.

Sunday brunch, first visit. Food and drink excellent. Server was pleasant and very helpful, and attentive. Noise level was very high in the room, a slight negative in our opinion.

My friend and I came here on a busy Saturday night and a reservation is definitely suggested. Cute inside, Westport vibes. Food is phenomenal. We split the Cesar salad, the tuna app, the tortellini and scallops. All delicious.

As always fantastic food. Service tonight was a little hit or miss with several people servicing our table, making it not that easy to ask for things, spoon for apps never came so eating broth with fork was less than satisfying but all in all a very nice evening, as usual.

Creative menu , but would like more variety. Maybe the occasional special. Food good, but entrees were lukewarm. We sat in the bar which was incredibly loud. We've come here a lot over the years and, The Cottage is one of our favorite spots. Please don't let it slip!

We have been here numerous times and always evrthing is so creative and well done. The kitchen is tiny but magic happens there. Everything is so creative and well executed here and one thing I love is you are not rushed. You can really enjoy your meal and feel special . Great choice for special nights.

We arrived and were helped to pick a desirable table near the window in the bar area. The staff was perfectly attentive — timing was on the money and the guidance to the menu was excellent. The food is creative and incredibly prepared!

First time for dinner at the Cottage - so nice to have on-site parking. All the food was cooked so well and service was very nice. Loved my drink - the revive me up!!!
