The Cottage, an upscale-meets-casual eatery in Linden Square Wellesley known for dependable, fresh, SoCal inspired menu options.

We partnered with Taniya Nayak, a featured interior designer on popular Food Network programs such as ‘Restaurant Impossible’ to transform the once light-flooded, beach-like, SoCal atmosphere to a warm, lively, and New England-comfort interior. Enjoy an emphasis on natural woods, live greenery, and pops of welcomed fresh color in the new interior and brand.

The Cottage will remain the same tried-and-true neighborhood eatery with a re-defined focus on local, fresh, and honest product, for the whole family, every day. The Cottage Wellesley’s new menu is created by Culinary Director, Peter Hansen, who brings his vast experience from all over the world to Wellesley, MA. In his career, Hansen has appeared on six episodes of Iron Chef and has worked alongside incredible culinary talent such as Michael White and Bobby Flay.

I really love the city of Wellesley Ma, and cottage is the best place where me and my family can have our get together. Thank you for the hospitality.

Our server was great. Food was solid and came in a timely manner . Peri-peri chicken was dry and tasteless. Fish and chips and taco fish were good. Nice family ambience for a Friday evening.

Food was good with the exception of fish tacos that were dry. Service was sweet but unprofessional. Our server offered me a sip of wine before I committed to a glass but left the table to get it and do a few things before taking everyone else’s drink order. By the time cocktails were served, food was being brought out. A double order of crab cakes came out on two separate plates. First course dishes weren’t cleared before the second course was served.

My husband and I had brunch on a Sunday at The Cottage a few weeks ago. We both found the food excellent and the service great. We went back on a weekday for lunch. The menu was different. We both agreed the food was not as delicious. We had the Harvest Bowl and the Fried Eggplant sandwich. Both were a bit tasteless. The service was fine. We would go back for Sunday brunch but less inclined for a weekday.

I have been to The Cottage many times and generally have always enjoyed the food. On this occasion there were several larger groups who were very loud and the noise was a serious impediment to conversation. This restaurant tends to be loud in general at lunch time. It is generally also very busy so I always make a reservation even for lunch. The food is worth the annoyance of noise and difficult parking . I also enjoy the specialty cocktails. They are pricey but enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our meal at the Cottages. Service was a bit slow, but that was due to the area we were in and an over-worked bartender doubling as our server. Food was delicious.

The steak was so tough I could not chew it. The flavor was terrible. My wife tried a piece herself and said it was the worst steak she had ever tasted. I sent it back and ordered a hamburger. It came 15 minutes after my wife had finished her meal. It was a cheeseburger not a hamburger so I sent that back as well. I ended up not having any dinner as my wife had finished hers. A terrible experience .

A fabulous experience from greeting to meal! The Cottage is one of our favorites. I invited my Mother for Mother's Day dinner and for her birthday which is the following day. We had a wonderful meal - the food was excellent, fresh and a beautiful presentation. We ordered the Chicken Piccata, Chicken Milanese and 1 sparkling water. The bill came to $65 which I felt was extremely pricey for 2 meals and 1 water. I didn't mind as it was a special occasion but I wouldn't spend that for a casual mother/daughter dinner out on a Sunday night.
