The Cottage, an upscale-meets-casual eatery in Linden Square Wellesley known for dependable, fresh, SoCal inspired menu options.

We partnered with Taniya Nayak, a featured interior designer on popular Food Network programs such as ‘Restaurant Impossible’ to transform the once light-flooded, beach-like, SoCal atmosphere to a warm, lively, and New England-comfort interior. Enjoy an emphasis on natural woods, live greenery, and pops of welcomed fresh color in the new interior and brand.

The Cottage will remain the same tried-and-true neighborhood eatery with a re-defined focus on local, fresh, and honest product, for the whole family, every day. The Cottage Wellesley’s new menu is created by Culinary Director, Peter Hansen, who brings his vast experience from all over the world to Wellesley, MA. In his career, Hansen has appeared on six episodes of Iron Chef and has worked alongside incredible culinary talent such as Michael White and Bobby Flay.

We had a party of six for a celebration lunch. Our server was wonderful. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their choices. The crab cakes were a special and fresh. The caprese sandwich is always a favorite. The burgers were cooked well, too. Thank you.

Made a reservation and was quickly taken to our seats. Service was pleasant and responsive. Love the food - my fave is the avocado halves with chicken salad. The Cottage is consistently great and the ambience is conducive to talking.

My longtime favorite - the tortilla soup- was not good. Did you change the recipe? Tasted like soap to me- and was way thicker.

Outstanding location great as a meetup spot between Metro West and Cambridge given the good highway access. Met for a business catchup lunch. Fabulous food, great waiter, the sauces were on point. We sat outside under a great umbrella and had a wonderful time!

We had a very nice brunch, great ambiance, although a bit loud. I ordered a mushroom, pepper, and onion omelet, which was very good, however my friend ordered a different omelet and also got mine. Our server was great, very attentive and food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Great spot for a girl’s day/night out.

I really love the city of Wellesley Ma, and cottage is the best place where me and my family can have our get together. Thank you for the hospitality.

Our server was great. Food was solid and came in a timely manner . Peri-peri chicken was dry and tasteless. Fish and chips and taco fish were good. Nice family ambience for a Friday evening.

Food was good with the exception of fish tacos that were dry. Service was sweet but unprofessional. Our server offered me a sip of wine before I committed to a glass but left the table to get it and do a few things before taking everyone else’s drink order. By the time cocktails were served, food was being brought out. A double order of crab cakes came out on two separate plates. First course dishes weren’t cleared before the second course was served.

My husband and I had brunch on a Sunday at The Cottage a few weeks ago. We both found the food excellent and the service great. We went back on a weekday for lunch. The menu was different. We both agreed the food was not as delicious. We had the Harvest Bowl and the Fried Eggplant sandwich. Both were a bit tasteless. The service was fine. We would go back for Sunday brunch but less inclined for a weekday.
