The Clam est un nouveau restaurant de quartier de 50 places puisant son inspiration dans l'un de ses ingrédients préférés, la palourde. Mike Price, chef et co-propriétaire, propose un menu saisonnier, axés sur la disponibilité des ingrédients mettant en valeur l'éventail de l'Atlantique. Le menu propose une variété de plats de palourdes, et certains classiques revisités. Le menu est complété avec des mollusques glacés, des salades, des entrées ainsi que des plats principaux de viandes et de fruits de mer locaux. Vient ensuite le dessert, conçu en fonction des offres saisonnières et locales du marché. Tout est fait maison. L'approche est simple et directe et propose des choix pour tous les goûts. Les objectifs du Clam sont d'offrir une hospitalité véritable, de développer des relations durables et de s'établir non seulement comme un bijou de quartier, mais aussi comme une destination de Greenwich Village où les clients peuvent être assurés de vivre une expérience exceptionnelle.

The codfish and the clam dip was delicious! But so sorry you ran out of the Parker rolls 🙁 Everything was great as usual.

As always, the Clam was wonderful. The outdoor seating is comfortable with good heaters. The service is attentive without being overbearing. They pay good attention to dietary requests. The food is great! recommend the oysters (especially West Coast), Parker House rolls, clam dip, lobster hash at lunch.

One of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the people are friendly too. The only thing that last time we were there all four of us got Covid. I had booked a table for the outdoor dining but was given a table inside. My mistake for allowing it. I don’t know who gave all of us Covid but I sure it was their because two of the people were from out of town and we are from the city. We will try again and definitely sit out side.

We are big fans of the Little Owl and wanted to try The Clam since it is a sister restaurant. We loved The Clam! The staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and loved the menu. It was challenging to decide what to order - so many items sounded great, including the cocktails! Our server was very helpful and patient with us as we tried to decide among the tempting options. We had the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer, and I had the New England clam chowder - it lived up to its reputation! For entrees, I had the grilled branzino with butternut squash risotto which was excellent, and DH had the cod which he thoroughly enjoyed and thought was a creative combination of flavors. We had the cookie ice cream sandwich and the bread pudding for dessert. Both delicious! We will be back so we can try some of the other inviting menu items!
