The experience was nice, the food was good as always, but it was very backed up. This meant my family had to be put by the bar area if we were going to eat. Granted it was Mother’s Day, but the value of the experience wasn’t worth the trip this time.

Excellent server, Nathaniel,food just right. We split crab/ lobster cakes, fillet, mushrooms, Caesar salad and baked potato. Every dish was delicious Beautiful long stemmed roses as a parting gift made my day special. Capital Grill delivers!

I come here frequently with my family and even had my engagement party here. I was incredibly disappointed on Mother’s Day. They put us in the room in the back, the service was nothing short of poor, I had to ask for the specials. The food came out underwhelming compared to all my previous visits. They also handed out a rose to each mom but not mine or some people sitting in that room. Quality has gone down. Waste of $300 go spend it somewhere else.

We have dined many times for dinner at Capital Grille in Providence and always delicious!Brunch on Mother’s Day was disappointing. The steak was good but it sat on a greasy burnt hash brown and they gave me 1 asparagus. I’ll stick with dinner next time

Thank you to the staff and our amazing server Maura for making our wedding anniversary and Mother’s Day dinner one we will never forget. The extra details on the table and delicious anniversary dessert were beyond thoughtful. My daughters now want Capital Grille as the special family date night restaurant.

Always an excellent place to dine out. Service was top notch to include the server ensuring the valet had our vehicle ready at the door for us and a nice desert presentation for my son's birthday celebration.

We went to Capitol Grille for our anniversary . Our waiter Pablo was excellent. He noticed I was putting on a sweater and asked if I was cold. He brought some hot lemon water to warm me up. It was perfect. The meal was excellent , my husband had the lamb lollipops. I had the Capitol Burger. We had trouble deciding what to get so we made reservations to come back in 3 days and try another dish. Beautiful table by the window overlooking the river at Waterplace Park. I hope to get Pablo as our waiter again.

This had long been my favorite restaurant, but I was disappointed last night. I made a reservation well in advance for a milestone anniversary dinner, looking forward to the main dining room. Instead we were banished to an inner room with no windows, seated against a buffet/service station where servers had to reach around us the entire time. The room was loud and not enjoyable. The food, as always, was excellent.

Always celebrate my birthday at Capital Grille and they never disappoint. Nathaniel was a wonderful server. The food was amazing. I had the tenderloin and butter poached lobster. We all had different entrees, which were all outstanding. Nice touches for a celebration with confetti on the table and a nice card. Love Capital Grille.

Dined before a concert at the Vets. The food was amazing, 10 ounce Filet Mignon is so much better than the 8 ounce most places serve. Just the right amount! Apps were delicious as well. Steak was slightly overcooked for a restaurant of this caliber, but it didn't matter as it was among the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Service was very much on par with the quality of the food. Our waitstaff was attentive, engaging, and present without being overbearing. Pretty much perfect. Value is a bit tougher -- it was very, very good. But it was not cheap. With no alcohol, dinner for two was over $250. That's a pretty big nugget. For a special event, fantastic. For a regular dinner spot, you better have a good sized "dining out" budget.

Not restiaraunts fault, its this administrations fault. The costs of entertaining a client are outrageous ever sinse 2020. Not Putin’s or Xi’s fault either, thank crooked Joe.

Usually a terrific spot. Tonight not so much. We asked for our usual waiter. He was there but we were not seated with him. Service was ok but not commensurate with a $250 dinner for two. BTW that diner includes tip and just one glass of wine , no desert/coffee. We were seated in the far back room next to a party of either 6 or 8 that was extremely loud. I understand it was Saturday night but I couldn’t hear my wife across from me for most of the night. Couldn’t wait to leave this place, but as I said typically it’s not this way but still quite dissatisfied and will think about switching up to another spot. Just not acceptable at this price point. 😕

I would probably say you don’t need to dress up cause there were a lot of people in athletic wear, t-shirts and more. I will say they have great food but the atmosphere they claim to portray on their website was not what I’ve seen in the past.
