    Celebrating my wedding anniversary here was one of the best decisions I've made in a while. All of the staff was very accommodating. Our server for the evening, Kyle, went above and beyond to make the evening special. After learning of our wedding anniversary, he provided us with special treats and intimate touches - even giving me a rose for my wife while was in the restroom. She was tickled by the sweet surprise. Last night was no doubt our most memorable experience at Capital Grille yet. Thank you again Kyle for the wonderful experience and attention to detail. You truly are an asset and VERY good at what you do. You made our special night that much more amazing. To Kyle's table assistant, thank you. I'm terrible for not remembering your name, please pardon. You were very sweet and so very attentive the entire evening. To the reception staff at the front desk, thank you for being so accommodating. My wife even remarked at how comforting it was to be called and checked on after being a few minutes late for our reservation. To a memorable evening at Capital Grille - Wall Street and all who helped make it so, I sincerely thank you. P.S. Kyle is the man.

    We have eaten here many times over the years but Saturday night was special. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff from the moment we walked in made the night amazing! Kudos to our server Kaitlyn and Sharlane for your awesome customer service. The food was fabulous especially the chicken with risotto and the creamed corn with bacon. We really appreciate all the added touches to help us celebrate!

    The steaks came out cooked exactly as we asked. (one was medium rare and the other was medium well.) Thick cut NY Strip was tender and juicy and seemed to melt in your mouth. The sides (creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes) were large and delicious. The Capital Grille retains its old-style, classy steak house ambiance. Service is spot-on and the drinks are exceptional.

    Overall, an underwhelming experience. We made a reservation well in advance, showed up on-time only to be left waiting close to 15 minutes to be seated literally right around the corner from the check in desk (less than 10 steps away). Not impressed. Our server was professional and polite. The food tasted good. We were disappointed to see that the dress code was not upheld. We had a group of 5 males seated next to our table - all in t-shirts and shorts. Then another couple came in with hoodies and jeans. I understand not wanting to turn away business, but The Capital Grille franchise that I have always known, has strongly encouraged a higher caliber dress code than what I saw this evening - what a shame! I hope The Capital Grille can get back to their former glory and standards to match. I will certainly think twice about coming back to a Capital Grille restaurant the next time we are looking for FINE dining options.
