Family dinner for mother's day. The restaurant was fantastic!! The food was incredible and the restaurant was very accommodating with my mother who is in a wheelchair. Staff was GREAT!

Had such a great Mother’s Day lunch/dinner. Our waiter Ron was phenomenal and very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations for us. Food was amazing from appetizers all the way to dessert. Very likely to return!

The very best meal I have ever had. I have eaten at steakhouses around the world and Capitol Grille made our experience wonderful. It was my daughter’s graduation request prior to her graduation from University of Hartford and they made sure it was a wonderful experience. The table was decorated for special and our server Emily was incredible. The oysters were fresh, the tomatoes and burrata were perfect. The best steaks my wife and I ever had and they even brought my daughter a special dessert. For a special occasion they will take care of you!

Sat at the bar around 6:45 on a friday. This was my first time at this Capital Grille, i've dined at others throughout the US. The volume was great, not loud, sat at the bar and had a wonderful mood. I don't remember the name of the bartender but he was great, very attentive and made great wine and food recommendations. Will be back very shortly.

It’s not too often that you get to go to a great steakhouse and get exactly what you were expecting. There were 4 people in our party and all of us had a great meal. The steaks were cooked to perfection and quality was amazing. Started with crab cakes and bacon steak for appetizers. Both 10+. Salads were cold and delicious but it’s salad so pretty hard to mess up. The cocktails were served with just enough ice to keep them cold but not watery. Along comes the main course and everyone had the steaks cooked to perfection. My bone in fillet was a great portion for the cost and cooked Pittsburg style which many steak houses can’t seem to get right. This one was perfectly burnt on the outside and rare in the middle. Perfect. We honestly had a great meal but the most important thing was the service. Sarah was on top of everything the entire night. She timed everything perfectly so we were not rushed but never wondering where the food was. She was excellent and a true professional. Made our experience even better. Thank you. We traveled 1.5 hours each way to meet our friends and the experience was well worth the drive. Finally a steak house that delivers exactly what you expect when walking in the door. Thank you Sarah for a great night. We will be back!

The ambience was great and the service was good. Several of our steaks were not cooked the way they were ordered and the calamari was rubbery and overcooked . We were disappointed and it did not live up to the hype and price.

Always a delightful dining experience. The steaks were all excellent, correct temperature, great drinks, salads, bisque, desserts. All terrific.. Service was over the top as always with our favorite server Gina. Looking forward to our next excuse to visit again.

The server Reuben was excellent and made for an enjoyable evening. Food is decent and high priced which lowers the rating for value received. Overall, good meal and nice evening

Great waiter. Although the area we were seated in was quieter, I didn’t like being put in a separate room outside of the main dining. The best part was the experience provided by our waiter. He was the best.

It was a nice dinner experience. Our server Sarah was awesome, and very knowledgeable of the whole menu. The food was delicious as well.

Dining at The Capital Grille to celebrate our anniversary, we had an excellent experience! Our server was a big part of what made this very memorable. Not only was Joe on top of everything but our conversation and service was carried out with grace and generosity. From assisting with menu selections to being aware of the pace of our meal, we were given a top shelf occasion.

Amazing as always! Service was amazing, our servers were great, Sue made our family Easter Brunch incredibly special. She was so sweet and friendly with our granddaughter. Knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. A wonderful day, food, drinks and atmosphere!!

We dined at the Capital Grille for our 15th anniversary and it was a sublime evening. Everything was as near perfect as one could realistically hope. This was literally one of the finest dining experiences in my memory.

Chandler facilitator my experience at the Capital grille in Hartford Connecticut on front Street was amazing the food was excellent the service was fabulous it was a little pricey but the food was very good I had a lobster tail and a salmon filet with asparagus some french bread and I had brussel sprouts that were awesome with green beans and small onions.

We had a great dinner celebrating a special anniversary for us. We were treated exceptionally well and our server, Gina, was super. Personable and knowledgeable- she had some great suggestions. including the lobster bisque. We enjoyed complimentary champagne and desert. We always go to the capital grill for a great dinner, and will again soon.

Our waitress Jayleen was phenomenal. She was very on point. However, I was disappointed in the woman at the front desk who checked us in and walked us to our table. I asked her for a different area to sit in and she told me no because the restaurant was too busy. The entire time I was there for 2.5 hours, not one customer occupied the several other booths that were still open across from us. I'm disappointed in Capitol Grille. This is the first time I've experienced that kind of behavior from them. Sad.

The Capital Grille never disappoints. Tonight’s experience was no exception. The food, ambience and experience were too notch. Our server Kevin was awesome. Made great recommendations and was perfectly attentive. Kevin even made our guest of honor’s night extra special. Thank you Kevin!

We loved our server Jayleen was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. She checked on us just the right amount of times and made sure we had everything we wanted. She understood the menu and was very professional and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing.
