Our server was super attentive. The food was good except one person ordered steak medium and it came back well done. They were very apologetic and took it off the check.

Bryan was our server and he was wonderful. It was our first time the Capital Grille and he really paid attention to us. My wife had a wonderful Mother’s Day Dinner. Thank you!

there is simply nothing but KUDOS for Cap Grill. Steaks amazing ~ Halibut a delight. Servers Tom and Carin add hugely to the experience. Its a well deserved splurge.

Services is always phenomenal! Never a bad experience and we’ve been going since opening night! Special shout out to Carin and of course, the fantastic front desk, hostess staff. They are on top of it as always accommodating everyone.

Went on Mother’s Day so was expecting a little bit of chaos but it was the opposite. Super well run and on time. The food was great and we was the service.

What a great place for Mothers Day brunch! Andre our server was the best. The food was amazing. Aged New York strip bone in was grilled to perfection.

The food was not seasoned well. The steak had no seasoning and the Seabass was extra salty and extra fishy tasting. This was my first and last time visiting this restaurant. I was really disappointed.

Came for Mother’s Day lunch. Very busy and unorganized. Our calamari was cold and more peppers than calamari. Very oily had to ask for paper napkins twice. Sent steak back, my medium plus was rare!! Came back again and it was still red in the middle. The Wedge salad was so over dressed with super runny, watered down Mayo tasting dressing. It was hardly a main salad, and the lardons were so fatty, I couldn’t eat them. Lastly our server Jade was nice but forgot several things… the hot sauce, the extra lemons and the sparkling water I asked for came out in a glass, maybe soda water but no bubbles and no ice????

Capital Grille has always delivered. We’ve been coming here for years. The food is always great. Impeccable service. Last night was a little crowded because of Mother’s Day. Other than that, it’s still one of the best places in OC.

As always The Capital Grille gets it right. They are always attentive and generous when we are celebrating anything. This time we were celebrating retirement and Mother's day early and they treated us to complimentary champagne and dessert. The food as always is very good and the service exceptional. There is a reason that The CG is our go to for most of our celebration lunches and dinners.

Facility is very nice and relaxing. The Lobster Bisque was fantastic and the Steaks were cooked perfect. Wait staff did a great job and were very attentive and helpful.

Our waitress doesn’t smile and kept forgetting about me. 1.) when she came to get my drink order, I asked to see the wine list, she handed me the iPad and left. She never came back to get my drink order until I flagged her down. After she took my order, she wants to leave and I have to remind her to take the iPad from me. 2.) Bread came out and we ordered appetizer. We didn’t know they were suppose to change our plate from the bread plates to the appetizer plates. Everyone plates got changed except mine. I thought it was kind of funny. 3.) After our meal was over, we couldn’t find our waitress anywhere. It wasn’t busy but it sure took her a very long time to grab the cake we brought for the birthday girl. Food is good, but our server isn’t great. She barely smile and not there when we need her.

Our server seemed like he was annoyed when asked questions about the menu and rushed. Then abruptly took away our dessert when we asked a question about it. It was embarrassing to deal with that kind of service. This place is normally wonderful and the food normally awesome. Not so much last night

This was with our 2nd time at Capitol Grille. We waited in the bar til the other couple arrived and I had a absolutely perfect Dirty Goose! We were seated and our waiter came to get our drink order. Then bread was bought to the table. Not crazy about his personality, kind of smug. Each of the guys ordered fish ( Salmon & halibut)& my husband also had a cup of lobster bisque which was divine, beautiful essence of lobster with that touch of sweetness. My friend & I split 3 different plates, lobster macaroni & cheese, grilled asparagus & crab cakes. Each was good. We ended the meal with splitting crème brûlée which I thought was exceptional. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We celebrated my Birthday with a Dinner here at the Capital Grille. We had Great Food, Great Drinks, and Great Atmosphere and Ambiance. We also had superb service!

We were celebrating my wife's 85th birthday. We have been dining at the Capital Grille for a long time to celebrate special occasions. Derrick was our server and we were seated at the table requested. Derrick served a round of "proseco" in celebration of my wife's birthday. My major complaint (for the 1st time) was the quality of the lamb chops that my wife and I shared. The fat was not trimmed properly and a vein was in the center cut. Impossible to eat!! I brought it to the attention of Derrick and he did the best to "make mends" for the situation. A desert plate with candle was served "comp" and the corkage charge was waived. In spite of his personal effort, I was very disappointed and disturbed by our meal!

This is without a doubt, the best restaurant in the state of California. From excellent food to incredible service, this is class. Please don't take my word for it, try it yourself and you will agree. I don't usually make comments like this but has become our favorite restaurant for many reasons.

Ich hätte vier Sterne geben können hätte auch gepasst, der Steak war und schmeckte gut , der Cesar Salat auch , die Bedienung sehr professionell, die Atmosphäre sehr gut . Leider die Platz Anweisungen der Mitarbeiter ist sehr Mangelhaft, zuerst bekamen wir einen Tisch wo die ganzen Bedingungen durchlaufen ,wollte ich nicht , danach ein Tisch wie in einem Deiner wollte ich auch nicht , zuletzt ein Tisch wo ich hin gedeutet habe am Fenster bekommen. Wohl gemerkt es waren im Restaurant 90 Prozent freie Tische bis wir gegangen sind war es auch so geblieben , deswegen gesamt Wertung 3 Sterne
