    We celebrated a birthday and anniversary and our server, Michael, was wonderful. The bone in filet was phenomenal! All the staff was friendly and very efficient. We would definitely recommend celebrating a special occasion here.

    We were here for a birthday celebration. The staff, especially our server, Tommie, made it an exceptional experience. We started with the spicy calamari. It wasn’t overly spicy and was perfectly crispy. Our entrees were the filet mignon and sea bass. Both were cooked perfectly. They brought the flourless chocolate espresso cake and coconut cream pie for dessert - heaven! Great restaurant with excellent food and service.

    We as a family have been going to this Capital Grille for special occasions for 11 years and at no time has the service or food or ambiance been less than spectacular. Last night we were celebrating my daughter's boyfriend for significant work accomplishments. Once seated it took forever (easily 15 - 20 minutes) to get a server. We complained to the busboy - who was awesome by the way - after which a manager came to our table to take our drink order. After another delay a server took our appetizer order. After yet another delay the server took our entree order. Our entrees began arriving at our table when the server mentioned, at the last minute, the kitchen had run out of what I ordered and I'd have to order another entree. When the check arrived there were no comps or discounts to compensate us for the inconveniences - the parking wasn't even validated! This experience is a first for us at Capital Grille, and we hope will be the last. We will continue coming to celebrate birthdays and special occasions, but sincerely hope service and food quickly return to the excellent levels that attracted us to Capital Grille years ago.

    If there were more stars, I would give it to them! We started off with an Old-fashioned and an In-Fashion cocktail. They were delicious, as was the pineapple infused vodka cocktail! The food and service were off the charts amazing as well: The wedge, the ribeye, the double-cut smoked bacon with Korean BBQ sauce, the lamb, and the sea bass. I saved the best thing about Capital Grille for last, THE SERVICE. THEY TREATED US LIKE ROYALTY, especially our server, Tiffany, and the manager, Heather! There were a dozen plus other things they did for us, that I don't have the space to talk about. Every restaurant should look to their level of service and food as the Gold Standard! We drove all the way up from San Diego, and we will be gladly driving back up in the near future!! If there is a reservation open for this restaurant, take it and enjoy the experience!!!

    We went for my Mom's birthday and she got the lobster tails and lobster bisque. My brother and I got the 16 oz bone-in filet and all was cooked perfectly and the service was amazing as usual!
