Bienvenue au Bull de Brentwood ! Vous serez accueilli chaleureusement dans ce pub gastronomique très confortable à l’ambiance conviviale. La famille qui gère et exploite ce restaurant travaille avec passion afin de proposer à sa clientèle une gamme de produits faits maison, et élaborés à partir d’ingrédients de qualité, comme par exemple les rares viandes de race, qui vous surprendront par leur saveur. La production locale est privilégiée. Le menu change au gré des saisons et les portions sont généreuses. Les divers plats du jour changent chaque semaine. La carte des vins est vraiment large, vous y trouverez à coup sûr ce que vous cherchez. Ajoutez à cela un personnel très accueillant et à votre écoute. Le restaurant dispose d’un menu à la carte. Pour les petites faims, le bar vous propose des alternatives plus légères. Sachez que chaque dimanche, vous pouvez venir tester un menu unique incluant toujours un très bon rôti en guise de plat principal. En plus du restaurant superbement décoré, l’établissement dispose d’un bar lounge très confortable, ainsi que d’un petit jardin extérieur équipé d’une aire de jeux pour les enfants. Les divers espaces sont accessibles librement, que ce soit pour se détendre autour d’un verre entre amis ou pour déguster un des meilleurs plats disponibles ! Had read reviews so went early with our little one to avoid any hassles as others had described long waits and bad service! We had a perfect evening. Food was fantastic and everyone (staff and other guests) was amazing with our 18 month old!

I had pre booked and asked for something for my wife’s birthday which was forgotten. Speakers and music kept cutting out. We had about 4 different servers whilst there and communication was lost in between them all. Great quality food.

I visited the Bull for dinner with my family on Monday to celebrate my birthday. I've been quite a few times and always found the food great and the hidden garden a lovely touch for children. We were placed outside, which was fine, but the heater we were placed next to did not work. After 20 minutes of waiting I approached a waitress to place our order and was told it was a 3 hour wait for food! It was my birthday and I had 2 hungry children with me! I couldn't wait until 8 to eat and had to leave and drive around to try to find another restaurant, kids complaining all the way! Not the way to spend a birthday and it ruined the evening! Really disappointed I specifically mentioned it was a birthday treat.

Lovely decor , music was good. My husband and son had mixed meat roast which was fabulous , I got the beef and was very very disappointed with the 2 slices of meat I got definitely not worth the money , don't know if it was an error but didn't get to see a staff member till I was nearly finished. Service was ok as was very busy .

We used to come here all the time so thought we would bring friends that haven't beeb before. The food has changed The pork was great but our lamb shanks did not fall apart, veg was too hard, and not enough mash. Shame as we really like it there. Also no more pork balls on starter menu No pate on starter menu We wanted a starter but nothing took our fancy.

Booked a table in the bar. Sunday lunchtimes are very busy. Our booking for 5 people resulted in 2 round tables being pushed together which wasn't ideal and noise level was high. Food was tasty. Roast dinners are not cheap but delicious. However the food was warm not hot. This wasn't our 1st visit. All others have been great experiences so would return but try to book restaurant.

It was a fantastic meal. The staff were excellent. The Waitress was particularly good great banter great service overall very impressed. I have recommended it to some friends already and will be returning sometime shortly. Recommend it to anybody looking for a good Sunday lunch with quality food used thank you to everybody Kevin Parker.

Nice midweek meal with friends. Table was clean but service could be improved. 2 menus for four people. Delay in ordering. Error with drinks. Team were polite and chatty but it missed those little special touches. Noisy group of men in the bar area and as we were under the speak it was a bit tough. The food looked lovely but cauliflower wings sauce was neat soy too salty. I’d still recommend it just needs some work.

Our waitress, I think her name was Sally? Went above and beyond. Excellent service with a great sense of humour. ( Dark hair in ponytail).

Starters where nice. Roast dinner nice, but the veg was too uncooked. Cauliflower cheese was stuck to the paper so was difficult to get out. Staff where slow with service, but was polite.

A lovely place for Sunday lunch. It was very busy on the Sunday I visited but the service was good and food was great so no complaints. Worth a visit

Have visited several times as the food is always excellent but our waitress (she always seems to serve us) never ever gets the order 100% correct! She spends so much time talking and not listening!! Nice enough person but improve your service as you are a waitress and that's the crux of your role!!

Excellent for gluten free options and great care was taken over our friend who was in a wheelchair. Only downside was the group of very loud diners seated 2 tables away. We had recommended The Bull to the couple with us but, they did not enjoy the experience. Conversation at our table was a struggle and they have no desire to return.

The service was excellent, we were not hurried and the waitress made knowledgeable suggestions when necessary. We had an excellent meal in pleasant surroundings with friendly staff.

it was very noisy and the reception lady seemed very stressed out and she did not smile at all when we came in. the service lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. the noise level was off the scales and it seemed everyone was shooting at their tables. i have booked a table for March so I am hoping it will improve.

Food was lovely, more expensive than would normally pay for a roast dinner & dessert but very nice. Dessert could have been a bit bigger but we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Service was quick and waitresses smiling and friendly. Will definitely return
