Million dollar water view. Excellent service and tasty foods. Will order the ice cream cake dessert again. Seafood pasta was the best. Homemade ketchup & fries were delicious but both portions were on the small side.

I took my Mom for a late mothers day lunch. Service was good but the food was sub-pair for the price. I ordered the 7once steak with a Caesar salad. Steak was over cooked on one side, and smaller than the 5once steak I had at Browns later that evening. The salad had brown edge lettuce, for $37 or $38. I guess its all about the view Mom had a descent meal which is all that counts

Fantastic views and good food. Ease of accessing Reservations. The open table app did take me to the wrong location when I selected the "give directions" option. Took me to Boathouse Mews in Yaletown.

Mostly come here for the view. The food is OK but the management keeps changing as do the menus so unfortunately there is a lack of consistency. The service is always great but the value for the money spent is average.

Difficult to find parking spots. Very long waiting time to take your orders and between your starters, main and dessert. Food was nothing fancy at all, so basic taste! Very loud at the restaurant and table are so close to each others. Washroom was sooooo dirty. Only bounce was the beach view location. Overall I’m not going back there again

We went for Mother’s Day and it was super busy. I would love to give them 5 stars because I love the location and the view but this time wasn’t as satisfying as the other times and here are the reasons. 1. We had to wait for cutleries after getting everyone’s appetizers. 2. Grilled salmon came out as “medium rare” but when you bite into it it was actually cold inside so I would think that it was just undercooked. We got the new dish after letting our server know but that means my mom had to wait for her main dish while everyone finished their foods. 3. Close to the end of the service, we constantly had to try to get our server’s attention and it wasn’t easy. The water wasn’t filled up either. I understood it can be really difficult to keep up with all the customers when it’s super busy like this but it definitely could be better food + service wise..

My daughter and I had the worst experience on Mothers day. Firstly a few minutes after the hostess sat us down another hostess came to our table rudely accusing us of sitting ourselves, then we found out that there was a limited brunch menu for Mothers day which was not voiced to us or indicated on the Boathouse website. There was no kids options (waffles, pancakes etc) at all. My daughter then found a moderate sized piece of tinfoil in her drink. My breakfast came with the wrong toast. The waitress said she would bring me a new piece of toast right away. 15 minutes later I still not receive my toast and I already had finished my meal. I will never go back to that location again.

Definitely a busy day and the service was probably slower than usual due to Mother’s Day, but we felt the servers did an excellent job considering the circumstances and the food and ambiance was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Was probably a special menu for Mother’s Day but we tried to order a Caesar salad a La carte but we’re denied. I understand you’re busy because of Mother’s Day…but a Caesar salad?? Come on. And I also understand that if you let one person order something a La carte then you have to let everyone….but once again…a Caesar salad? This place is also tacky and overpriced.

Seating--we always get the premium seating either on the first row or the second row by the long stretch of windows looking onto the beach so we are happy about that. Unfortunately, if the sun is up, you get the rays right into your eyes so I always make sure I have shades. However, yesterday was a scorcher and I was sweating buckets being cooked in the 'greenhouse' sitting right beside the huge expanse of glass. The waiter was very accommodating and brought the shade down as much as possible but the A/C just could not keep up. So, I wish the A/C could be better there. Food--our mussels were brought to us and we found it slightly on the raw side despite of the opened state of the shells--the mantle skirt was still adhering to the shell plus the gonads were still slimy. Upon our complaint, the manager came by to explain that's how they serve it usually but he'll be glad to serve it well cooked but chewy. Strangely, the seafood pasta we ordered came with mussels that were perfectly cooked to our liking--not slimy and not chewy either. --The C. A. B. steak I ordered medium rare came medium but I didn't bother to send it back --the beer I ordered came in a non-chilled glass resulting in the beer almost at room temperature after a short while in the glass. I asked the waiter about it and he came back with a new one--same result! My final solution was to ask for some ice which I dropped into my beer--albeit slightly watered down but more acceptable to drink especially in the 'greenhouse'. I would still return because I do like the staff and the setting so yes, I would recommend this place. I just have to remember to stress to the waiter how I want the mussels cooked and that I would only accept medium rare--not medium!

Fast friendly service. With a beautiful view of the sunset and beach. I had the Salomon it was cooked perfectly and my guest had the Thai prawn bowl it was all just delicious

Came for a quick anniversary lunch on a weekday. Wonderful service and you cant top the view. Food was great. Ordered the seafood chowder, salad and a fish and chips to share. They were all great, but valuewise, the salad wasn't worth the price. The chowder tasted great and had some big chunks of salmon in it. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary.

Perfect date spot. Yummy food and drinks! Sat on the enclosed patio. We were comfortable but our server was sweating up a storm. Felt badly for her, but she never complained or missed a beat!

We were in the restaurant for an hour and a half. Waiter forgot to fill my water glass but was insistent on me ordering another alcoholic beverage after I finished my one and only drink. Soups were served incorrectly and we had to ask for the correct one to come out 10 minutes after all of the other starters arrived. The waiter did not bring out steak knives with our main courses and we struggled for 10 minutes before being able to flag him down to ask for the proper utensils. After we were served dessert I asked the waiter for more water and was ignored, he asked who wanted the bill and didn’t acknowledge my request. For how expensive the meal was for 6 people, we could have gotten better service at a red robins. The food was very good though.

Food was consistent and good. View was absolutely stunning at sunset. Unfortunately we had a preoccupied server that seemed much more interested in the table beside us that was reserved that had not yet arrived than serving us. She walked away when we were about to order wine and we waited 15 minutes for her to return. She never asked how our food was, she never made any suggestions or told us of any specials. She placed dirty dishes from the table she was fawning over next to us in a chair of the vacant table beside. So we could see the dirty dishes on the chair. I’ve never seen that done before. Our mains came out practically on top of the first course. That was disappointing. No more beverages were offered after we ordered a glass of wine. No coffees were offered with dessert. All in all, very disappointing for such a great location. Thankfully the view is stunning or she would have ruined a special occasion. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

This goes for most restaurants that are in great location. I had my worst seafood meal in Vancouver last night. Salmon was dry and the rice was cooked very poorly.

Had reservation for 12:45; no sever came to our table to even offer us water until 1:25; decided to order drinks and food at same time due to delay; drinks came at 1:45 but food did not come until 2:20; server did not give reasons for delays nor apologize at any point; location is outstanding but dining experience was not - we will not be back

This was a chaotic lunch. We waited almost an hour for our food. The server was awkward and forgot us for most of the time we were there. My glass was dirty on a drink. It took over 30 min to get a replacement and it was really terrible. We have been here before and it was great. Today, service, food and overall experience were not good.

In short, an expensive but pedestrian meal for a special family birthday. The seafood was uninspired and fell well short of my memories from past times at this restaurant. Our server was lovely but run ragged over far too many tables - I think we waited 25 minutes before we had our drinks.

The valentines dinner is good. portion is right. price is reasonable for the value. service is good but could be improved. Me and my wife did enjoy the evening and will surely visit again.

I find the value we had for valentines day was not worth 80.00 unless they included the drinks than maybe... Also would love the window seats that has a view... not to sure I be back to the boathouse or not past experience we had was way better...

The atmosphere and views were great but the food was fairly disappointing for $80 a plate for Valentines Day The cauliflower salad was a letdown, seafood platter was just okay. The mashed potatoes with the steak and lobster was great, same with the ahi tuna tacos. However the taste wasn't quite there for most of the dishes and the plating really was not visually appealing
