Le Bistro - Biltmore est situé dans le parc du domaine de Biltmore, juste à côté de la cave primée de Biltmore. Préparé à partir de produits locaux frais et de saison, le souper inclut d'excellents steaks, de la truite de montagne, des fruits de mer, de la volaille ainsi que de l'agneau. Le chef Noriko Oda invente des recettes de brasserie d'inspiration française, en mettant en vedette des produits élevés sur place ou cultivés localement. Les jardins du domaine produisent un large éventail de légumes et de fruits tout au long des saisons, et les vastes pâturages fournissent du bœuf Black Angus et de l'agneau entièrement biologiques.     We went for brunch and felt there was a great value. The restaurant itself lacked the ambience that we were hoping for. Love the open kitchen area. Staff were great although our plates took a little bit longer to come out than normal. Food was top notch with zero complaints there.

    We are annual passholders at Biltmore, and we have been to the Bistro many times for dinner and had a good experience. This was our first time going for brunch, and we had such a terrible experience, we won’t be back for any meal anytime soon. We could detail everything that went awry, but it would take too much time. In general, the only food we enjoyed was the deviled eggs and the roasted potatoes. The service was painfully slow (they never seemed to have coffee brewed), and curt and argumentative to top that off. The two details we will point out so you know going in are the following: - With any other restaurant on OpenTable, when you book a patio table, you are, well, BOOKING a patio table. We did that for this brunch, and when we arrived they went to seat us inside. When we said we booked the patio, they told us the patio was full. We said ok, but we booked the patio when we made the reservation. Turns out, unlike every other restaurant offering booking of outdoor/patio seating on OT, when you select that when making a reservation at The Bistro, it is a REQUEST to sit on the patio. You are not actually booking a patio seat. This was disappointing on a number of levels, chief of which is one of us is immune compromised so we try to sit outside as much as possible. When I tried to explain any other restaurant on OT when you book an outdoor seat you are BOOKING the outdoor seat, the gentleman got argumentative and said it is a REQUEST here and to know that going forward. Now you know, too - There is only one gluten free breakfast entree option, and it is the basic farmer’s breakfast. Their gluten free menu is also incorrect, stating they have gluten free granola for their yogurt and granola. They do not have gluten free granola. We ordered it, got it without granola, pointed it out to our server, and were flippantly told she knew (but didn’t tell us) and was trying to get them to change it on the menu. Again, now you know.

    French onion soup is to die for !! The ribeye is amazing pair with the hunt red wine 👍🏻

    4 of us all with $62 filet mignon entrees. Not cooked as ordered caused one of us not to eat along with the others because of delay to bring out a new steak and another did not come with correct sides ordered. The quality and taste was great. Did get an apology, but that didn’t help the experience. Had great company so that’s what mattered most, but needless to say the kitchen service was disappointing at that price point. Waitress was pleasant.

    We have stayed on the Inn on Biltmore estate 4 nights so far, and we dined at the Bistro 3 times. We had the Trout entree plus appetizers each time, and the trout was always great to the last bite - probably the best trout dish we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was energetic and the service was perfect. The hostesses (including Lydia) were also very accommodating and allowed us to postpone our arrival on one occasion due to us getting caught up with our grandchildren at the pool and the relaxing effects of the estate. If they were open tonight, we would dine there again. Highly recommend. The management is also exceptional as we’ve seen managers come and go and come back (thank you Emily) over the 19 years we’ve been coming here. The glory days seem to have returned :-)

    The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. However, the noise was too much. One large group beside us was extremely loud. Almost ruined our evening.
