7 out of 10 meats were waaaay overcooked…mash potatoes tasted like instant, Plantains not good, desserts not too tasty across the board… Staff very nice, I left nice tip due to ambience & excellent wait staff…

I have been going to Texas de Brazil for 20+ years. It’s a go-to for me. This location in Addison is the one I go to the majority of the time. My experience has always been good. Some better than others, but always a quality dining experience. The dining experience on this occasion was nothing short of awful. We were a party of 13 for my 40th birthday. And while I do understand that large parties can be a bit harder to manage, Texas de Brazil is a caliber of restaurant that should be equipped to handle it, especially at 4:30 when it’s not busy at all. Our server, Brianna, chose not to write down the drink orders for our large party. She got one of the beers wrong, had no knowledge of what an IPA was, and didn’t remember who ordered which drink. It was a mess. She was not proactive in monitoring the drinks at our table. At no point while we were eating did she come to ask any of us if we wanted an additional beverage. It wasn’t until we were done eating that we had to flag her down and ask for another round of drinks. During the meal, she did have time to let the end of our table know that she had worked a double the day before and that she was really tired. When it came time to pay the bill, things got more interesting. We had several separate checks, which I know isn’t ideal for a server to manage, but I still expect better. Again, Brianna chose not to write down our drink orders at the beginning or the second time, so when it came time to pay she had to go around to everyone again and ask what drinks they had. Additionally, at that time, one member of our party discovered a fruit fly in her second margarita after having drank over half of it. We brought it to Brianna’s attention and she brought the female manager over (didn’t get her name). She was completely unprofessional and spoke down to our party member about the drink. Lastly, Brianna chose to circle the gratuity on the checks, announce that to our table, and ask for good tips. Pathetic service.

The food was great. It was hard to understand which meat they were providing and when we asked questions they did not seem to understand us. We had to ask someone about the desserts. When the waiter explained how things worked he was hard to understand we had him repeat 3 times and were still not completely clear.

I recently dined at Texas De Brazil and was disappointed with the experience. The main waiter provided very slow service and forgot to bring our wine order. While the meat service was decent, the delay and oversight significantly affected our enjoyment. I hope these issues are addressed to improve the dining experience for future patrons.

Fantastic dining experience. The meats were tender and very well seasoned. Service was quick and courteous. The salad bar also had a wide variety to choose from. Recommended over any other Brazilian BBQ in the DFW area!

The food was delicious but the restrooms were dirty also I didn’t like being in the center of the room but it is expensive
