We had an amazing time at Teske’s Germania! The food was excellent! Exactly prepared in the German tradition. Last time I had anything that came close to this was when we were in Cologne. The service was second to none. Jeff was awesome! They had a live band playing German folk songs that was just perfect for setting the perfect ambiance. Make sure you ask to sit outside in the patio. This is where all the action is at.

We ate in the beer garden and there was a live band. Music was great and food was delicious. Service was good even though they were packed because of the band. We’ve been here several times and will come again. The soft pretzels are a must!

Great place to grab authentic German dishes. Big fan of the Jaegerschnitzel and their Bavaria plate.

Excellent food. Staff was accommodating since we had a show to go to. The Jacob handled the service and he was quick and efficient. There was music and dancing starting in the beer garden and it was getting busy, but the kept things moving and we were out quickly.

Another smash hit at Teske's. From the moment you walk in the door and see someone drinking a Maß (1L beer), you feel like you're in an authentic, old German mainstay. Despite there being a wedding party on the night we visited, we still received all the attention and help we needed from our very impressive server (Geoff) who spoke each guest's preferred language and gave us each well tailored suggestions. It was a pleasure to meet one of the owners, Greg, who was at the bar bantering with the regulars, situating the guests, and keeping everything running smoothly. We also caught glimpses of Scott as well as he ran around keeping all the behind the scenes chaos at bay. Those guys run one hell of a restaurant. Bless them for actively keeping it going every day.

Very authentic and old-world experience. Scott and his team always provide good service and authentic German dishes. Nothing fancy, but always cooked with heart and soul!! Definitely the best German restaurant in the Bay area. Been coming here for over 20+ years!

We went to dinner at Teske's and were very happy. The ambiance is kind of old bar, wood structure inside. I really liked that old school feel. The server and the host were very attentive and friendly. The server explained the different dishes and recommendations. The food was amazing. I had the pork schnitzel. My husband had the marinated beef roast and a friend had the special, pork roast. All the food was outstanding. We voted the pork schnitzel the favorite. We started with the sausage variety small plate. So good. And we finished with 3 desserts for the table. The Bavarian cream, the bee sting and the apple strudel. You can't go wrong with any of them. We will be back. It is a must try for authentic German cuisine!
