The Pretzel is a great starter, as well as the pot stickers. I am always on the lookout for the Shepherd’s Pie but is only a seasonal dish. Meanwhile, the Meatloaf is great and the salads are excellent. When ordering from the Bar as for Jake as your bartender. He is a master mixologist.

I hadn't eaten at Tempo for many years, primarily because I found the noise level too loud. I decided to try them again, as they are a local business and had gotten good reviews on line. I was pleased to find the noise level much improved, probably due to acoustic tiles and drapery. The meal experience was great. The cocktail I ordered was made to perfection. The service was impeccable, the waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was very good. I ordered the pan seared scallops with risotto, delicious, but a little too salty. My companion ordered the Caesar salad with an impressive and tasty chicken breast. The sour dough bread that we ordered was delicious (evidently made by 2 local boys)! All in all, a memorable evening!

Lovely time. We had the fried oysters wonderful but spicy beware. Tagliatelle with beef was a little watery and not a lot of flavor. The chicken parm and fettuccine was excellent but big portions so plan ahead. Greek salad excellent

Been here several times but each time reminded how surprisingly great it is - fun in the bakbar, great drinks, great food and service. Waltham is lucky to have yet another great dining spot - with live music too.

The food was decent, Our server was excellent. We sat by the bar, which was packed. My husband was constantly getting elbowed and touched by the bar patrons. It was pouring rain and he kept getting wet from passing patrons. 3 people deep at the bar with tables is too much. We did not request a bar table and sat there anyways. We will go back but no bar side for us!

Love the ambience, the drinks, the wait staff was very friendly and did not pester. We all had couple of drinks each (old fashion, Honey bee and more), several apps, salad (beat salad is tasty), and main dish to share... Had a lovely evening for few hours... Parking is a bit challenging but not a big deal. I would go here again. Also several other restaurants in the area which is nice to have just in case you did not have advance booking and could get a spot. Although I would go to Tempo again!!

You need to get real menus. The QR code menus is very COVID—and makes y’all seem cheap. Not good for the ambience or feeling during service.

We asked to be seated in a booth, request granted. Server came over within 5 mins and she introduced her self and started us off with our drinks and starter. Server was very nice and had good insight on the menu. Food was amazing and plated very nice. Restaurant was very nice and bathroom was clean. I am excited to tell my friends about this place and about the delicious food. I will definitely return for another meal soon

Every plate we had was delicious. We had an exceptional server. We really appreciated being in a restaurant where it was easy to talk without shouting over background noise. Will definitely come again.

We are never disappointed. The food and cocktails are consistently Amazing! The menu has sone mainstays with seasonal new yummy entrees and starters. We had a tuna taco as an app and Chicken Pam were out of this world good! Tempo is our family’s go to place celebrating Birthdays and special events! It always fabulous!! Thank You!!

My family and I had a fantastic dinner at Tempo on a Saturday evening. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We were served at an appropriate time between drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. My only gripe was that our table was near the door closest to the kitchen, and there was another table behind us that had substantially more room between the wall behind them and the table. So we did feel a little tight between people walking behind us and the table on the other side of us. Of course we weren't going to ask the full table behind us to move their entire table during their meal, so we left it alone. Otherwise the restaurant did not feel too crowded, even with it being almost a full house. We will definitely be coming back!

Menu is varied with plenty of interesting choices, everything beautifully prepared, excellent service, nice vibe and atmosphere. A little noisy for easy conversation, but not so noisy we couldn't hear each other and still enjoy ourselves.

Dinner on a Friday night, I had the Cajun swordfish. It was slightly overcooked, but was still moist, not dry. Since I prefer fish overcooked rather than undercooked, it was good by me. My girlfriend had the tuna and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent whiskey selection, good mixed drinks as well. There's a "club" kind of attached to it. The signs read "live music" , but it was a DJ, and way too clubby for my taste (and age).Good restaurant, but get in and out early before the nightclub vibe kicks in (unless you dig that sort of thing).

We chose to eat here because it advertised a good selection of gluten free items. Almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free. Our waitress was wonderful with knowledge on this and walked me through adjustments when one of the items we asked for was not available. Wonderful experience with a lot of great options on the menu, can’t wait to come back and try different apps and entrees!

We went to Tempo for pre-Valentines Day dinner. My wife had a virgin Bee's Knees mocktail and loved it. I had the New England Red Sangria and it was delicious. Our mains of the Coq Au Vin Shepard's Pie and the sea bass were wonderful. Very pleasant service for a lovely evening.

we were initially seated at a table across from the bar, even though the bar was slow with only 1-2 customers, the bar staff was quite loud, we asked to be moved and were accomodated quickly with the same wonderful wait staff!! always great food....

Food and service was great! We all ate every morsel on our plates! Cocktails were different and tasty. Will definitely return.

I have been to Tempo many times, and this time, it was less satisfying than in the past. The food was ok but not as great as in the past. Chicken Parm was overcooked. It just felt like another pub instead of a finer eating establishment or bistro as it had been before.

Great dining experience. I loved the pan seared scallops and the Girl Scout cookie cheese cake.

Excellent food and award winning mixology. The pdrinks prepared by Jake were amazing, try the Old Fashioned!. Our server Catherine and her trainee were delightful. We started with a platter called Pupu with all home made buffalo chicken rangoons, pot stickers and Kung Pao cauliflower. The braised beef tagliatelle was a great plate for sharing.

Everything from the oysters and sourdough starters to the haddock and tagliatelle entrees was great. The cocktails were really well made and not overly sweet. Good draft beer selection too! Service was perfect even on a busy Saturday evening.
