Reservation was for 645p. Arrived at 630p was told table would be ready in a few they are just clearing it. Finally sat at 7pm after there were 4-5 tables just sitting there empty with dishes on them Hosts lacked any urgency, made excuses that due to buss boy calling in sick they couldn’t clear tables fast enough( I worked in service industry for 10 years that’s when hosts step up, managers step up and fulfill those duties) Finally sat, waiter was great, and pleasant Food lacked any effort, plated hastily, my steak tips was raw after ordering medium well, when I let staff know they said sorry but did not ask if I wanted it cooked more and to my amazement was not removed from the bill Would never go again, and I specifically made reservations knowing it was Mother’s Day and places would be crowded When I spoke to the manager they had to get her from the back both times, she should have been in the floor knowing it was a crowded night and they were short staffed on the floor

Everything taste great . Service and seating was excellent. Appetizers: Ordered stuffed quahog which was excellent. Also ordered lobster Rangoon which was sauce with nothing it 👎 Ordered lobster scampi for 46 dollars with a strip of a half of a lobster claw . Ordered stuffed lobster for 35 dollars which was great tasting but almost overcooked and sat in a puddle of dressing making cracking open the lobster a chore and went through a pile of napkins . For seafood it’s still fairly preseason and they were busy due to Mother’s Day weekend and there was a birthday party to attend to . With that said if we had gotten the amount of lobster on the scampy making it worth 45 dollars , Rangoon with lobster in it rather than maybe a few specs , and stuffed lobster with the dressing off to the side it would’ve been perfect . Really tasty overall and service was great

I gave a score of poor overall due to the fact that the restaurant did not taking any of my requests into consideration, when I booked the reservation. For two weeks in a row, I requested high top table closest to trivia host but We were seated at a table far away from the trivia, hostess, making the noise level very difficult to hear. I make these requests because we have a few people in our party that have hearing disabilities and the restaurant is/has not been accommodating when I’ve made the request to be seated close to the trivia hostess.

Great food. Great view. Great service!! Maddie was wonderful as our server and very attentive. Can’t think of much that was a turn off other than it was a bit loud on the non-bar side near the bar with families. Not an issue at all for us though and it was a wonderful meal and time! If we are around Plymouth again, we will be back!

Always a great experience at Tavern on the Wharf. Lots of choices for food and and drinks. Our server Kelly makes our visit even more enjoyable each time we come. Lloyd is an amazing manager - friendly, efficient and attentive to his guests!

We had a brunch reservation for 4 people last Sunday. The hostess sat us at the worst table on the aisle near the bar area. I asked if we could move but the hostess told us that all the other tables were reserved. The speaker was over us and the music was so loud we had to yell at each other. It was such a busy area with waiters waitresses walking by constantly. Not fun

This was our second time eating here. Funnily enough we were seated at the same table as last time. Food and drinks were very good. The place was super busy, loud and lively. I wish the volume of the music was a little lower as it was difficult to talk/hear over it. Our server did a good job but appeared to be in a bad mood..she was chewing gum the entire time and was barely pleasant except when she delivered our check. Having said that we would still go again...who knows maybe we'll get the same table a third time!

Our waitress was wonderful, that’s the best thing I can say about the whole experience. One of us ordered a burger cooked medium/rare arrived well-done, 2 people ordered fish tacos, they were missing enough sauce to give it some flavor, very flat tasting, 4th customer ordered the chicken sandwich, just okay. We have eaten here many times in the summer, last night was very disappointing.

Great service. Our server was attentive without hovering. I had a simple salad with a pan seared salmon added. It was excellent. My husband had steak tips with mashed potatoes and a side salad. His meal was also excellent. For desert we shared the chocolate lava cake. Yum! We enjoyed our meal and the view of the harbor was very nice even though it was a rainy day. We were on a get away stay in Plymouth and the Tavern on the Wharf was the best restaurant for dinner we had while staying in Plymouth.

Worse mail ever. Ordered fish and chips. Fish seemed to be day old with fries. Both were very cold. Husband I waited an hour for food to come. Used to love this restaurant but something has definitely changed. Ended up not having lunch. Would recommend going any place but here. Hope they get their act together.

Usually a great experience but the specials for St Paddy’s day were a disappointment. Guinness stew in a bread bowl was a tiny portion for 22 dollars and the corned beef and cabbage was tough, cabbage undercooked.

excellent service excellent atmosphere. The manager came and asked how everything was. He was great. The only thing I would say is the French toast was lousy English muffin was dry and tasted older in the French toast was terrible. I didn’t like the bread that was used in all the condiments on it. It was not very tasty at all. Highly reco. Other than that highly recommend the restaurant.
