Very friendly staff, accommodating. We were late for our rez due to traffic and I called approximately 30 minutes prior and they moved us around. The cocktails were well made; the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp scampi, tacos and salmon. Oh and let's not forget dessert of chocolate brownie sundae and cappuccino. Will def visit again when in the area.

Was there Wed evening and had a great experience. I have a gluten allergy and Tavern is great about it,being able to accommodate by making most of the menu able to be made and served gluten free and they take the care to have everything coming out of the kitchen w/ special allergen specific markers. This is one of the best restaurants in town to accommodate a gluten free diet and the food and drinks are always really good. I should note that before our order was taken,their computer system went down and our server was very apologetic and yet our food still came out of the kitchen piping hot and we were in and out w/ 3 courses each in under 2 hours…great service considering the kitchen was chaotic that night.

We had some hiccups at the Tavern… server was very nice and patient with our group of 9 including 5 children. However, we ordered some bowls for the adults. 2 came leaving several ingredients and the 2 other the manager came when the food was served and apologized cause they were out. We quickly reordered which was ok and they were forthcoming on the check. So overall we give 3 stars.

Very disappointed in our visit to Tavern on the Wharf last night. Service was extremely slow, it took over an hour to get our food, which half of the meals were hamburgers & fries. Once the food came, the burgers were not what we ordered, I send mine back, they brought another one out and it was still wrong. They said they’d make another one but everyone had finished eating and the burger was no where to be found so I asked the waiter to cancel my order. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Ordered the seafood tower; the oysters and littlenecks were rancid. Looked shriveled and smelled terrible. Told the staff and the chef sent out more... The shrimp, crab, and lobster were rubber. Second time I've had a bad meal there. Will never be back. That place should not be on Plymouth waterfront. Seafood was as "Fresh" as you would get from a restaurant in Nebraska.

Reservation was for 645p. Arrived at 630p was told table would be ready in a few they are just clearing it. Finally sat at 7pm after there were 4-5 tables just sitting there empty with dishes on them Hosts lacked any urgency, made excuses that due to buss boy calling in sick they couldn’t clear tables fast enough( I worked in service industry for 10 years that’s when hosts step up, managers step up and fulfill those duties) Finally sat, waiter was great, and pleasant Food lacked any effort, plated hastily, my steak tips was raw after ordering medium well, when I let staff know they said sorry but did not ask if I wanted it cooked more and to my amazement was not removed from the bill Would never go again, and I specifically made reservations knowing it was Mother’s Day and places would be crowded When I spoke to the manager they had to get her from the back both times, she should have been in the floor knowing it was a crowded night and they were short staffed on the floor

Everything taste great . Service and seating was excellent. Appetizers: Ordered stuffed quahog which was excellent. Also ordered lobster Rangoon which was sauce with nothing it 👎 Ordered lobster scampi for 46 dollars with a strip of a half of a lobster claw . Ordered stuffed lobster for 35 dollars which was great tasting but almost overcooked and sat in a puddle of dressing making cracking open the lobster a chore and went through a pile of napkins . For seafood it’s still fairly preseason and they were busy due to Mother’s Day weekend and there was a birthday party to attend to . With that said if we had gotten the amount of lobster on the scampy making it worth 45 dollars , Rangoon with lobster in it rather than maybe a few specs , and stuffed lobster with the dressing off to the side it would’ve been perfect . Really tasty overall and service was great
