Rosie was very pleasant as our server. The atmosphere is rustic and chic! Very comfortable booths and fresh flowers and real candles on each table. Cocktails were interesting and very good. The food was excellent. Goat cheese flatbread was our favorite! The burger super tasty and the red leaf pear salad with peach dressing was yummy.

We would love to eat here more often. Always exactly the great cuisine we expect. Service was flawless. Drinks were wonderful and unique, and a big part of why we come back.

This is a great spot on Coronado! Delicious good, friendly and fast service even on a Saturday night, and fun atmosphere. We celebrated my moms birthday here and every generation from older to kids enjoyed themselves and their meals.

Took my parents out on a Friday night. It was busy and parking sucked, but to be expected. The food was outstanding. We had the Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese to start. Both were amazing. Entrees were the chicken pot pie, and two of the shishito pepper burgers. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend all of these options. The service was great and they also have great drink options. We will definitely be back again.

The Tavern is my favorite restaurant to bring visiting family and friends! Always great food and the best service! Hands down the best place to eat or chill and have a cocktail at the bar in Coronado.

I enjoyed eating at the Tavern twice. Their burgers, Mac and cheese, and a wagyu steak were on point. I would order all three item’s again. The server was also exceptional - she knew the menu well and I followed her recommendations and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ll stop at the Tavern every time I visit Coronado moving forward!

This restaurant is consistently fantastic! We go there at least once a week sometimes twice and the food is always superb, the service excellent, it’s just a great place to go

Angus sliders were perfect medium rare Fries were hot and crispy Fish and chips substituting salad for fries was great Chicken pot pie was ok Nice booths Friendly staff!

Only two servers with an almost full capacity. Long wait to order. Food average at best. Added 20% automatically onto the bill for service. Plenty of other choices in Coronado.

A menu that is not overwhelming- just a few dishes all done really well - family of five and everyone’s plates were cleared! Chicken pot pie was delicious- kids had a burger and the salmon - and loved it. Husband had the burger and mum had the fish and chips - all yummy. And shared a cookie and ice cream for desert. Highly recommend!

Updated menu. Delicious. It was busy but we were well taken care of. The bar got backed up a bit but our server, Sean, kept us in the loop. Sean made our “quick bite” before we do the Christmas things a delight.

A great, cozy spot with a very nice atmosphere. Large bar and comfortable tables and booths. Sean was our server and was awesome. Cocktails were very good, don't miss the Brussels sprouts to start with. Dinner favorites were wagyu beef tacos and chicken pot pie. Can be very busy, reservations are recommended. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable.

We have dined many times at the Travern. I made reservations for 6 and provided my credit card to hold reservation. Reservation was at 6:30 pm, checked in around 6:15 and was told our table was not ready, and was directed to the busy bar. Finally after waiting 20 minutes we were seated. The food and drink was good, however the service was extremely slow. Finally at 8:15 pm we took our dessert to go so we could see the light show at the Del which ended at 9. Also, $18.00 for an espresso martini is a bit much. Plus per email the reservation did not quality for points? Very disappointed.

Crazy busy night in Coronado a week before Xmas. Tavern was rocking!! Our server was great despite the full house. Timely service on the drinks. Food was outstanding. Great evening.

We love the food but the staff is even more amazing than the food. We found the restaurant a number of years ago and it has become one our favorite places.
