Les Belges prennent leurs bières, leur chocolat, leur système politique loufoque et leurs gaufres très au sérieux. Au Taste of Belgium, c'est la gaufre qui est la plus sacrée de tous. Le restaurant a fait beaucoup de chemin depuis avoir cuit leur première gaufre à l'arrière d'un dépanneur. Aujourd'hui, le restaurant est fier de pouvoir vous présenter une cuisine excellente préparée tous les jours par les chefs doués. Certains plats ont même figuré sur la télévision nationale, mais le Taste of Belgium sera toujours endetté à la gaufre pour son rôle intégral aux origines du restaurant. Le restaurant s'acharne à présenter la cuisine élégante avec une attitude terre à terre, et à donner une touche sophistiquée aux mets plus humbles. Une cuisine et un service sérieux d'un personnel avec un sens de l'humour.

    Chicken and waffle is sooooooo consistently yummy! Their latte of the month was Nutella - terrific! Usually go on weekend, but Monday was perfect to enjoy the patio and a leisurely brunch with a friend.

    Great appetizers. Excellent cocktails. ErFor entrees, we enjoyed steak frites, fish & frites, and the chicken sandwich- all very good. We had a drink spill at our table that we blotted up with dinner napkins, and no staff member helped or even cleared away the napkins!

    Buddha bowl would have been delicious if it were not for the carrots that tasted so “earthy” they had no sweetness. They overpowered the bowl and ruined it. Seems avoidable if ingredients were taste tested by kitchen.

    Over easy eggs weren’t done properly. The whites in the egg were undercooked and the bottom was crispy. should have a runny yolk but fully cooked whites. Goetta was burnt, crispy, and way over cooked. Fries were cold and soggy. The pop tarts were made incorrectly and labeled wrong. Seems they had an off day in the kitchen.
