Overall the food was good. My son and I had burgers which were great. Our server however was a little inexperienced. I wanted a taster of two different wines, 15 min or so later I received one of the tasters. I had to ask for the second which didn’t come for about another 15 min. And she wanted to run away again. I asked her to wait for me to make a decision. Our food came, we ate our entire meal and my glass of wine had still not arrived. It was after our plates were taken away that my glass of wine finally arrived. A little frustrating! I will go back however and give the restaurant one more chance.

We ordered 4 signature Caesars, no pepperoni and no straws. The server brought the wrong meals to our table twice. The second time she brought (fish&chips and a burger) no one in our party ordered a burger. My husband said “I ordered fish & chips but I don’t think this ours.” She said “let me check”, left with the burger but left the fish & chips in front of my husband. She returned several minutes (5-6) later and said yes the fish is yours, and that everyone else’s would be out in a few minutes. The other 5 meals didn’t arrive for 9-10 minutes. The 2 Croque Madams were cold. We were there about a month ago and the service and food was absolutely awesome. Our server was an Irish guy…he did such an amazing job, was very aware of what we ordered, questioned one dish that came out of the kitchen wrong without us saying anything. He made us come back this month. Sadly, today’s experience was a total bust, the entire table left talking about how they wont rush back.

Was there for Game 4 of the Canucks-Predators series. Still the best place in Greater Vancouver to catch a game. Sound on. TVs everywhere. Great seating. Great service.

Great food! Went for a birthday lunch with a couple of my siblings. All our meals were great. The southern fried chicken sandwich/burger was amazing, as well as the truffle onion ring burger. Even though we were full, we had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Scrumptious! Service was great, professional and warm. This was not my first time here and it certainly won’t be my last

We love Tap & Barrel and enjoy coming here! However we forgot that (not big hockey fans) that is was game 1 lol. So yeah it was extremely loud, we couldn't hear each other. The food was great and the service, I failed to notice that it was an extra charge to get a salad instead of fries for my side..

Placed reservations a few days ahead for a 16th birthday for my daughter (party of 9). Everything went well, they were seated quickly at reservation time, staff was friendly, everyone enjoyed the food, there was a variety of everything on menu, so no problems for anyone with specific diets.

Good food but very slow service caused us to miss happy hour. Did not honor happy hour price, which would have been the right thing to do. Later ordered a dish at full price that never came, but hey at least they did not bill us that one!

Our server was lovely and we had a great birthday for my 8 year old daughter. I’m ashamed to say we didn’t catch his name but he did have an Irish accent that’s all I can remember. Food was terrific and we would definitely go again as a family.

Service was wonderful and food was good! Except my potato cubes are a bit burnt! Otherwise, good place to hang out and love the interior decor! Overall, very enjoyable and a great place for brunch!

Wonderful ambiance, food, and service! Front host staff were welcoming and attentive, and our server, Chris, was AMAZING! This was our second time here in a month and on both occasions we sat in Chris’ section. As a former restaurant manager, Chris is a gem so don’t lose him!! We did sit with empty drinks for a bit at one point but we noticed how busy he was so didn’t mind. As busy as he did get, he always had a smile on his face, and never tried to rush us. Food was delivered fast and was delicious. Thank you to everyone. We’ll be back soon!

The location is lovely - the staff on the door were not! We had a reservation but were asked to stand against the wall and wait for nearly 15 minutes … meanwhile people arriving after us were being seated. I had to speak to the person on the door again to remind them we were waiting and had a reservation.. at that point we were seated. The food was just ok. Burger was not hot - our server was excellent- the staff on the door however the place down

The hostess was very rude and although we booked a patio table in advance, she called and said they would not be able to do that and first come first serve only. Then same woman checked us in and was seating us inside when patio had dozens of empty seats. When we asked she made us wait then assigned us to a table over the concrete in the cold while 8 empty tables were open in the sun overlooking the water! She gave us a table in the sun when we pointed it out. Overall, tables overlooking the water looked to be selectively given out to younger folks who walked in without reservations and seemed like older (over 50 set) appeared to be relegated to the shade overlooking g the concrete! WTF?!

Very pleasant experience, the front door employees were very welcoming saying hello and goodbye, with genuine smiles. The service at the table was good, order my favourite ranchero bowl with shrimp is so good! My husband was also very satisfied with his order and our beverages. Over all a great experience that we will repeat.

We come here quite often. Very good place to meet friends. The food and service were very good as always.

Nice interior, not too loud. A bit expensive. I'm no fan of suggested tip on machines starting at 18%.

Cutlery was dirty. Server forgot to order one of our appetizers. Entree was warm not hot. Entree was not worth $30.

Lively atmosphere with great views of the city. Our server was excellent; friendly, prompt and attentive. Good variety for happy hour eats which were better than average and good value.

I was sitting on my table for more than 25 mins.No server came to ask or water or take my order.I had to leave right after.Very poor customer service

Food was only acceptable and fairly high priced for its quality! Knowing this, I would recommend Tap and Barrel for the funky atmosphere but only in a nice sunny day.

When we arrived for our 6 PM reservation there were four booths empty where we were to sit but we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Lack of wait staff on Valentine’s Day?
