    Tamarind excels in every imaginable way! Delicious food and extremely friendly and attentive service. And you can enjoty a pleasant conversation with the people at your table - there is no blaring music.

    This place is almost the best place for Indian Cuisine in Tribeca. Food quality is excellent. My second time here and came with my colleagues and they all love the service, the food and just the place itself. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

    This is our 3rd time, both the food and service are outstanding! Staff and servers are so kind and helpful with ordering and food is absolutely delicious! Never disappointed and always impressed!

    Delicious dinner. The chicken tandoor kebob was amazing as was everything else. We particularly appreciated that the hostess reseated us in a booth (the restaurant was empty) from a table at the entrance/right next to a service stand. Always get a booth at this restaurant and you will have a great dining experience.

    Pleasant evening having dinner in Tamarind. Beautiful atmosphere with true Indian flavors of Indian spices along with great service , glad that we found this place looking forward to dine in again.

    Clearly not associated with the original Tamarind in Mayfair, London. Mediocre food across the board with some outright poorly prepared and presented dishes. Overcooked tandoor meats; ill-described appetizer dishes and baseless curry flavors. Avoid if you enjoy quality Indian food. This place is patently trading on a world class name with no business enjoying such affiliation.
