Pleasant evening having dinner in Tamarind. Beautiful atmosphere with true Indian flavors of Indian spices along with great service , glad that we found this place looking forward to dine in again.

Clearly not associated with the original Tamarind in Mayfair, London. Mediocre food across the board with some outright poorly prepared and presented dishes. Overcooked tandoor meats; ill-described appetizer dishes and baseless curry flavors. Avoid if you enjoy quality Indian food. This place is patently trading on a world class name with no business enjoying such affiliation.

Favorite Indian restaurant anywhere in the country. I have lived on five continents, so I’ve eaten lots of Indian food. Tamarind is in a class of its own. My family has been going there for over 20 years.

the service was unchaacerisically poor. We ordered appetizers and they did not come until our dinner, we waited upwards of 45 minutes for dinner/appetizeers. The waiter seemed very disorganized. My main lamb course was dry and a very small portion, a lot of gristle. Not good. The chutney we ordered was forgotten until we reminded the waiter. The bread was cold. All in all, not a good experience.

The food was delicious. We had a hard time narrowing items for the table due to the extensive menu with numerous intriguing options. The staff was attentive and helpful for the member of our party requiring gluten free selections. Elevated Indian food in an upscale setting.

This is my second dinner at this restaurant. It was wonderful the first time and is still wonderful. Would not hesitate to book a third dinner or to recommend to friends and family.

Overall the food was great and the vibes were vibing. Only thing I’d have to say is the palak paneer was a bit bland and had too much paneer in it. As an Indian staple dish, this was a bit disappointing to see not executed perfectly. Everything else was great!

So it’s was nice over all. But the presentations for the dishes could have been more better. 3 course meal should be more presentable rather than serving everything on one plate. We usually go to Junoon wanted to try tamarind but they need more work on their preparation and flavors.

Interior- Very chic and beautiful. Service- Top notch, very attentive and helpful with all inquiries and suggestions. Sumit was our server- he was wonderful! Food- Delicious and the flavors really popped. I cannot say it is life changing food (it tastes like any other Indian food I've had from a hole in the wall to a fancy place) but it was very good. Cost- Very pricey for Indian food but your paying for the location, ambiance, service and I'm assuming fresh ingredients because everything tasted very fresh. Drinks- I had a mocktail and it was delicious. I would go back for that alone. Overall- this is a great spot that I would try out if I wanted to take someone to embark upon upscale Indian cuisine.

My experience at Tamarind was a very nice one. Upon arrival, a gentleman checked us in and showed us where to leave my umbrella and we were then escorted to our seats by a young lady. We were sat in a backspace, which seems like it'd be perfect for events. It was a bit noisy, there was about 23+ people in closed off space. Also there was a family next to us with 2 younger boys, one of which was watching a hockey game on his phone and was a bit rambunctious. Nonetheless, the waiter and busser were very attentive and helpful throughout the entire service. I had the Okra and my guest had the Tamarind Chicken, both were great entrees and we did get a side of rice, and naan as the portion size was a bit small for dinner. The place is beautifully decorated, great for a date night or special celebration. Definitely would recommend!

Almost everything was delicious, my chicken was a bit dry and the cocktails aren’t great, but otherwise the atmosphere was lovely and the flavors were amazing! The service was okay, there was a party that seemed important to them so I felt like they were hovering over them and paying less attention to the other guests.
