Food was excellent and the Inn is delightful. Service was fine. Unfortunately the room we were in was noisy enough that I had to strain to hear my companion.

The service was exceptional, the ambience unique, with quiet music, and the food very tasty & wonderful along with good drink & wine selection. I will definitely return on my next visit to DC!

One may always count on the Tabard Inn for its food, service, and charm. It’s perfect for a date or anniversary, out-of-town guests, a gathering of long-time friends, business associates, with whomever one wishes to spend quality time.

Cozy spot. Good enough service. Food seemed overpriced. Hamachi seafood dish had smelly seafood unfortunately.

We went for brunch. We were seated upstairs. Very nice service which allowed us to relax and enjoy. Good sized portions - come hungry. 😀

We loved our dinner at Tabard Inn. We were given the option of where to sit, and chose the courtyard, which is this gorgeous enclosed brick area with vines creeping up the walls. The menu was thoughtfully curated, and my friend said the duck confit was the best she ever had. I was very satisfied with my lighter fare of poached shrimp and a salad. The cocktails were also very nice. Overall, for the quality, the price seemed fair. We were blown away by the service -- everyone was so nice and thoughtful. At the end of our meal, we received a complimentary dessert presented by one of the chef staff that was absolutely delicious. We would absolutely go back. It is the perfect place to bring your parents, grandparents, or a date.

They have changed the chef and the management in the last couple of months. I’ve been going for breakfast/brunch since 2017. The food was easily forgettable. I would not recommend this location any longer. The food was sub-par. Service and ambience were lovely as usual.

Lovely meal at the Tabard Inn restaurant. We were staying at the inn, so very convenient. The food was very good, especially the oyster appetizer and our entrees--I had the chicken, my husband the rockfish (which was outstanding). The chef de cuisine, Sarah, stopped by the table to say hello and offer a sample of her new take on the oyster appetizer, which is always a plus. We also had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant the next day. We'll definitely be back!

We had brunch here 15 years ago and it was glorious. Things have changed. Dinner was just OK. Scallops were nicely cooked, bibb salad was lovely, but all else was mediocre or bad. Service was outstanding - attentive, kind, but not hovering. Patio area was also a very pleasant venue. Nice wines by the glass. But so disappointed in the food.
