Chargrilled oysters were more like oysters boiled in butter. They could learn much from Drago’s. Not sure if they are missing the right staff, the right equipment, or both.

Superior never fails. A straightforward elevated version of local classics and creative takes. Oysters raw and chargrilled are the heros but so many delicious bites and cocktails.

We went for an impromptu Mother’s Day lunch. There was a music trio there that was going around taking requests for songs. They were amazing! The food was great.

Can't say enough good things about Mother's Day brunch at Superior. They did an amazing job. Reservations were spaced out perfectly...never felt too crowded. The picture booth, red rose and chocolate coverage strawberries for the mothers were great added touches that really top off the day!

Great frozen French 75s! We had the lettuce wrap appetizer which was amazing. My other half had the redfish and I had the risotto with shrimp, both of which were great. The server was attentive. Great place to eat

Terrific food and service. They had all the eats uniquely NOLA seafood and a drink menu to match. Pricing matched Uptown location. Our server was very attentive as well. Will definitely go back.

First time in New Orleans and everyone said this is a must stop. Every serving of food was fantastic and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. I wish Superior Seafood was in my hometown.

Had dinner here on the last night of Jazz Fest and it was a wonderful way to cap off a terrific week in New Orleans. Started with a frozen French 75 and a Whiskey Sour - both were great. Had both the chargrilled and raw oysters which were outstanding. Crab bisque and pecan crusted gulf fish both excellent. Great, fun, energized vibe

We shared a dozen raw oysters and a dozen chargrilled oysters and were too full to order anything else. Bug then we ordered carrot cake! Huge warm slice that we ate only half and brought the other half home! Delicious!

Ever since moving to New Orleans, Superior Seafood has become our favorite dining spot. The food is always fantastic, and the waiters/waitresses are always friendly and accommodating. Recommend the char-grilled oysters, Redfish Magnolia or the Shrimp and Andouille Brochettes

The food was delicious and well presented. The scallops were seared to perfection and the blackened red fish melted in the mouth like butter. The charbroiled oysters are a must for starters along with an espresso martini. My only issue was the oysters came out very late and were quickly followed by our entrees, leaving little time to enjoy the full flavor of the oysters before the entrees got cold. Still, we made it work.

Food and service were fantastic! Some of the best shrimp and grits I ever eaten. The music level was too high, making it hard to hear the person across the table from each other.

We have used Open Table for reservations at Superior Seafood well over 100 times. This was our second visit this week with out of town guests. Our all around favorite restaurant in New Orleans.

Food and service were both sublime. The red fish served with risotto was particularly well balanced between the protein, veg, starch and sauce. Wish our server would have brought the drinks included in happy hour to our attention more specifically either by pointing it out on the menu or verbally listing options. She was great but we didn’t realized that happy hour options were limited until happy hour was over.

We usually love superior and the service, but our recent experience was not the best. After we placed our food order, we waited at least an hour for our food to come out and our waiter only came by and spoke to us twice within that hour. A disappointing dining experience of waiting and wondering if we should just pay and pick up something to eat on the way home instead.

Wonderful food and service but just too loud! We asked to be seated in the front area along the windows which seemed slightly less noisy but it would have been quieter if they closed the windows between the two areas. Not sure we will return due to the noise level. Too bad, as the food and service were very good.
