Great food and service. It was noisy last night inside but that was due to other patrons. The music did not help though. It was also a bit loud. This is one of our favorite places. We will be back.

I’m not vegan but went with friends to Sun Cafe. The meal was excellent with its take on various dishes I had the lasagna and the flavor and texture was very similar to a regular lasagna. Everyone else was well satisfied with their food and the overall experience. I certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone needing a good meal wether they are vegan or not

Not what it used to be! Should’ve eaten outside-don’t recall TV in main siding area. Will find another vegan place for special occasions. Sad 😞

A terrific dinner at Sun Cafe! Amazing cuisine! So tasty and creative. Warm, welcoming and attentive service. And a very pleasant ambiance. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Loved the outdoor space. The nachos were delicious but the pesto pizza was so so. We enjoyed the flavor of the pizza but it was quite dry and we had to ask for red sauce on the side.

This cozy little vegan restaurant serves some of the best vegan food I've ever tasted in my life. Took my mom here for her first vegan experience, and it was nothing short of lovely. We got there around 1:30, and it wasn't too busy. We sat on the outdoor patio and ordered Matcha Latte with oat milk and agave, the Omelette (it's made with mung bean, pico, spinach, veggies, mushrooms, Violife Parmesan and sour cream, topped with avocado) and a side of Caesar Salad, and I got the Baked Lasagna (brown rice noodles, walnut pesto, marinara, cashew ricotta & spinach, topped w/cashew cheese). Both dishes were so delicious. Our server, Paul, was nothing short of a lovely human being. We will be back time and time again!♥️✨🌱

First time dining at SunCafe and we’ll definitely be back! The food was delicious, the service friendly and efficient, and atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a Valentine’s Day dinner, and we were a bit surprised that they were only serving a prix-fixe menu, since we hadn’t noticed anything about it on-line beforehand, but it was fine and we enjoyed it. Now we’re eager to return so that we can try some of the other things on their menu!

Very cute set up and comfortable! Food is so great and lots of options for GF…all vegan!! Great to place to have conversations become it’s quiet and peaceful. Small tables, booth, big tables, they have many options for food and atmosphere. Nice people!

I used to love this place...but I guess getting and keeping good employees is tough these days. Last time I was there a month ago is was the quality of the service, and the food, that really made the place special. Yesterday the service was really slow, felt like we were forgotten. Saw people who ordered after us get their food before us. The Spicy Thai salad my wife ordered was really terrific, as usual. But the ruben sandwich that I ordered was a big let down. Was really small for the price and I didn't seem to have any sauerkraut on it, as promised in the menu. The Mrs Goldfarb's vegan ruben at Art's Deli in Studio city is like twice as big, for just a few dollars more. So big there's no way you can eat it all and have to take some to go for another meal later. The ruben at Sun Cafe just reminded me how much I love that sandwich at Art's! LOL

The food was great as always. Our server started off great but seemed to get distracted and then left is waiting long periods of time when we needed to ask him for things such as bill etc.

Lots of great vegan food choices, all of which are delicious and filling. And always great service from super nice people! I do like sitting outside on their pretty patio, but with the heat wave this week we sat inside instead. Not as pretty, but good air conditioning made indoors the better choice. And the meal was terrific.

This was my first time at Sun Cafe and my husband and I really loved it. The outdoor patio is so nice and the food was amazing!!! Very great quality ingredients. Our waitress was also great. We will absolutely come back. :)

Everything had nuts in it which I’m allergic to. Everything myself and my friend ordered was excessively salty and that was the main flavor profile. It was honestly all gross. We left half the food. My bill was $50 and I ate something else when I got home. I would never go back.

The patio has lots of greenery and shade or sun options. Everything is vegan and the majority can be gluten-free, with above average results. Staff is nice and attentive.

Love SunCafe. The food was way beyond expectations, and has made me a big fan. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because of the ambiance and the service; both were perfectly fine (there is an outside patio that looked nice, and there is a small parking lot--nice bonuses), but I thought that the food (and the prices, which are not cheap) didn't match the dining experience. That's more about my expectations, of course, but one should know that it's a very casual place, and is way more about the food than the dining experience. Highly recommended.
