We are well known for our excellent seafood dishes, wok-fired stir-fries, traditional curries and noodles, and our extensive vegan menu. Excellent food and the staff superb! They accommodated us in any possible way, including lowering the AC because my husband was cold. Thank you, we will come back next time we are in town!

We are from a city that makes amazing Thai food. I also make Thai food on a regular basis at home. The food here is outstanding. The papaya salad, drunken noodles, panang curry and red curry were all exquisite. The server was the nicest person we ran into in New Orleans. Highly recommend. I never thought I’d go to NOLA and love their Thai food.

The restaurant is a little bit confusing, but the food was good, fresh and the sauces were made well, my plate contained red meat not bad I just needed it to be more tender. Overall a good representation of Thai food!

The website would not allow me to reserve a table for 4 pm for an early dinner, so I reserved a table for 3:15 pm. When we arrived we were told that the kitchen was closing in 45 minutes and we had to rush and place our orders. If the website told me that I only had 45 minutes for a meal, I would have rescheduled. Worst still, after we rushed and ordered and ate our food, we were told that the kitchen was closed for dessert. Why weren't we asked if we wanted dessert when we ordered our entree? I was very disappointed for my niece, whose birthday we were celebrating. She is vegan and always patronizes Sukho Thai because it has a vegan menu.

We dined here as a table of 4 and enjoyed it very much. The staff was friendly and the menu large. The pad thai with chicken, shrimp fried rice, and cashew chicken were all very good. You can request how spicy you want on your dish. There was a parade the day we visited and staff was busy, but we had a very nice meal and will be back.

We have been customers for years. They are happy to customize dishes to suit us by adding or subtracting ingredients. Great happy hour and drink specials. We will be regulars for a long time.

I don’t think the restaurant had prepared for NYE crowds. It was packed, there weren’t enough waitresses. However, service was quick, the food was quality and overall it was an ok experience as a traveler

This is our special spot we always go to when traveling to New Orleans. My partner doesn’t eat meat and we find their vegan menu to be a wide variety. This is the best Thai food we have ever had!

Delicious, very authentic Thai food. The menu is expansive with many vegan and vegetarian dishes. We lived in Thailand for several years and always look forward to eating at SukhoThai to revisit the delicious food we had there.

Ordered popcorn chicken as an appetizer. 5 tiny tiny tiny pcs for 9.95 Flavorless and should have been ashamed of serving. SukhoThai sampler, was ok. Crispy pork belly with broccoli. Awful, the pork belly was hard to chew, and not tender nor crispy. The Chinese broccoli was stems only, and no leaf. I’m not picky, but I hope I can help someone from ordering these dishes, and suffering the same letdown. I mentioned my experience with the plates, and was told that’s the way they are.

Sukhothai is our favorite Thai restaurant in New Orleans. They have a large variety of foods, and all dietary options are available. Spice levels are moderate but if more "heat" is desired you can ask for a separate pepper sauce on the side. They have some really good selection of cocktails and other drinks. The service was great although our party of 3 went when the restaurant wasn't too crowded. service was quite quick but I guess that is normal because they do a heavy take-out business. Moreover, the restaurant is right on the edge of the Vieux Carre, so it is a go to place for tourist and us natives who love Thai food.

We arrived late for our reservation due to traffic and detours but we were seated immediately. The waitress couldn’t have been kinder or more understanding. We placed our orders and the food was served promptly and hot. The entire experience was better than we expected. We were able to sit and visit and extend our time together. It will be one of our go to restaurants whenever we are back in New Orleans

This was about a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter... but we wanted something that wasn't "touristy" during our stay. Although the walk was hot and not the "most scenic" = (keep your head on swivel)... this is a fine restaurant to Uber to. We ordered a lunch special shrimp and bamboo and the seafood hot pot with shrimp and mussels. They ask how spicy on a scale of 1 - 5 when you order the spicy dishes. My wife and I are of Indian/desi background so we can handle spicy. We ordered a 3 for the lunch special and a 4 for the hot pot. This is enough for us. The four was probably a bit much, but that's what I wanted, I wanted to be reaching for the Thai Iced tea (which was great and really sweet). Great food. We went on a Tuesday during lunch hours and it wasn't too busy. The food come out in about 15 minutes. I always try to find a Thai spot during my travels and this rates very high up the ranking. Excellent restaurant !!!

Having just returned from Thailand two weeks ago, I can confirm that this place is the real deal... fantastic menu offerings, fresh ingredients, and tasty goodness. My only wish was that my mango stick rice had a little sweeter of a sauce... but that's the American in me showing through.

So the food wasn’t that authentic. Pretty pricy compared to the authenticity. I’d give 6/10. Server disappeared most of the time. I had to ask a random server for water. Didn’t check up on us or anything. It wasn’t a busy night. There were empty tables around us. I’d give 8 to chef/cooks as they try to accommodate authentic food in the middle of French Quarter.

We always enjoy going to this location as they offer such an incredible feeling of joy for their food and ambiance. As a local, it is something we look for in a restaurant. The happy hour specials are a wonderful treat if you enjoy some spirits. The green curry with the seafood combination was perfect with the puffed bread. We shared two incredible desserts. I was able to have a meal the next day also which was delicious.
