From the minute we walked in everything from the service to the food was perfect!! My espresso martini was the Best I’ve ever had!! Carbonara not on the menu but was made for my husband and my fettuccini Strega was Outstanding! We will be back!

This place exceeded my expectations!! It was definitely a younger crowd on a Friday night so late twenties to early 30s and they had louder music going so it had more of a clubby feel. If you are looking for a quieter restaurant, I wouldn’t come here after 8 pm on the weekends. The service was great and I got the cheese wheel which was INCREDIBLE. Will definitely be coming back and this is the best Italian restaurant I have gone to in the Boston area.

Food and service recommendations were excellent. However, the music was too overpowering and after multiple requests to reduce the volume for the sake of conversation were ignored, we hurried through the meal. It overshadowed the entire experience and we rushed through our meal to leave.

Strega is a typical North End restaurant in that it is small, but comfortable. The food and service were excellent and we were very pleasantly surprised by two outstanding male singers in the middle of dinner. Overall an outstanding dining experience.

What a great dining experience we had. The Lobster Risotto special and shrimp scallops were delicious. Hopefully, they will be on the menu again.

This place has become a staple for me every time I come to Boston. The food, energy, ambiance, servers and staff make you feel very welcomed. It's like have Sunday lunch with your whole family talking, laughing, drinking and a great time.

My party arrived about 5 minutes early so had to wait outside in the cold while table was ready. Service was pressed and rushed which was so insane. Food was just ok. They didn’t have dessert since it was the weekend and I was there to celebrate a bday however the waiter did accommodate and was able to get us 2 different kinds of dessert which were really good. The space in the restaurant was very limited. Overall wouldn’t go back. The waiting outside didn’t sit well at all when you have a reservation

Very sorry to write a poor review - but be aware that Strega in North End is extremely loud, the food is mediocre. Surprising because Strega Seaport was good, one would think they were not related at all. A shame.

We highly anticipated this dinner and we were seated on time and the maitre d, Phil, was outstanding. The food was slow coming out (even by Italian standards). The meatballs were outstanding, the bread was very disappointing. The calamari was good. The The Saltimbocca was overcooked and a little over-salted. My gal's pasta was a little undercooked. The gnocchi was very good, although a tad dense. Overall, everything was good but I was expecting a little more because the reviews/recommendations were so good.

Great place. Few thing to know prior. Loud, but friendly and the Sinatra like singer was awesome. But not great for intimate conversation. Save this one for a load Italian dinner!!!

Went for Brunch. Menu is uninspired and they try to double as a club for brunch. Old edm and rap music playing on iPhone and they will skip songs in the middle. So weird. Hire a real DJ, hire actual chefs to make unique dishes not pepper omlettes that taste the same as a free hotel breakfast. I have no clue why people spend their money or time here

The food and waiter service was excellent. There were two hostesses. One was very polite but the other was extremely rude. We had an 8:15PM reservation but we got stuck in traffic due to heavy rain. We called the restaurant around 8:05PM to inform them that we were running 15 minutes late due to traffic. They understood and said no problem. When we got to the restaurant, one of the hostesses said our table wasn't ready because we were 15 minutes late with attitude. I told her we called to inform them that we were running late. She said she was aware. Her attitude and explanation for our table not being ready did not make any sense.

Very good, but the music is just too loud, and that's unfortunately what our group will remember the most. Turn the music down to acceptable levels. It's a restaurant, not a nightclub.
