We have our own private lot in the rear of the building. Guests can also use the street parking in front as well as the municipal lot across the street for no charge. We just ask that they use care in crossing the street and the railroad tracks.

Love John Stone’s Public House! Great food at an affordable price. The place is throwback to the early 1800’s and our waiter staff member Hannah dir a fantastic job! Very personable , friendly and made our dining experience very enjoyable.

Great comfort food, great taste and hearty. Irish loving throughout. Arugula salad was amazing & scallops were DELICIOUS with the polenta & hazelnuts? MUAH! Loved it! Service was gracious & friendly!!

my Caesar salad was precut lettuce and half of it had brown edges. The sautéed spinich had excessive amounts of garlic. I could not finish it because it was so over powering. The au gratin potatoes and roast chicken were delicious!

Dined early Friday evening. My husband’s chicken Milanese was not good. Other three meals were very good. Excellent service.

It's an actual pub. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but the pub fare is well prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Great pub burger, pulled pork sandwich, smoked salmon sandwich, actual LAMB shepherds pie, great salads, and appetizers. Some, but not a lot of seafood. Wide variety of good craft ales, stouts, wheat beers, as well as generic lagers for those who don't appreciate beer. And the setting is an old pub straight out of the 1800's.

Food was good and our waitress was lovely, but when we got there the patio was 2/3 empty, the host INSISTED he couldn’t sit us out there, and then proceeded to sit everyone else who walked in after us and without a reservation out there (though it never got more than half full). Just really annoying when we were a small party of 2!

my partner got the scallops and substituted asparagus for the warm german potato salad ? she said it was excellent. I got the meat loaf & mashed, came flooded in gravy. The meat was fine but this meal should have had a vegetable with it for the price. Table was up stairs and the table surface was very tilted and the whole area was extremely noisy. Be a long time before we go back. Sorry.

Bar service slow. Sat for 10 minutes waiting to at least be acknowledged. Got up to leave and was THEN asked if I’d like something. Dining room service was excellent. Food prepared very quickly. Burger was decent. Caesar salad with salmon was lackluster and overpriced. Love the ambiance of this place but.. not sure I will return.

I always enjoy dining at Stone's Public House. The food is delicious and the team is great. Vicki does a great job welcoming all of the guests and Hannah is incredible at her job! They should be commended for their exceptional customer service.

This was our first time going to Stone's Public House and they exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, highly recommend the Steak salad. Everything was cooked perfectly. The best part of our experience was the staff. Everyone was so pleasant and our waitress, Hanna went above and beyond for us! We will absolutely be back again!

We went for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The food was delicious and the staff was super accommodating. My father, who is on oxygen, was unable to go up the stairs where they had planned our reservation. They quickly made changes and had us seated in no time without my father even being aware! 110% would recommend and return!

We visited Stone's Public House for a small 70TH birthday dinner, and had a great experience! Food and drinks were great, server was attentive and personable and the environment was quaint, and cozy. There was a pretty full restaurant on a Sunday late afternoon, but noise was moderate and we had no trouble enjoying conversation at the table. Overall I'd highly recommend Stone's Public House!

Great authentic pub. Staff are friendly. Food is quite good Especially like the Lamp Sheppard's Pie, Pub Burger, and the Smoked Salmon BLT. The garlic shrimp appetizer is also great. Good selection of craft beers on tap.

We've been to Stones many times. The food is always good. In this case, the service was fair, whereas usually it's excellent. Our waiter mumbled, and he brought our drinks after the food had arrived. We also had to wait a long time for our check. Other than that, all was well.

Stones is a charming old in. In downtown Ashland. The train runs right next to the restaurant so you definitely feel it when it goes by. Even though it was very full it didn’t feel crowded and it wasn’t excessively noisy. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The short ribs were great and the chowder was too. The lamb shepherds pie was very meaty. The vegetarian shepherds pie was, alas, mostly gravy. Everything was piping hot and the apple crisp dessert was outstanding. Great place for a casual get together.

Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Corned beef and Cabbage egg roll were delicious. All the meals were great, especially enjoyed the Seafood Stew and Lamb Shepherds Pie. Pretty good whiskey choices.

Very comfortable and homey atmosphere, we've been here several times, the was and is very good. Lamb shepherds pie delicious, meatloaf yummy, and the bone-in pork chop steak really really good. Don't forget the Irish soda bread! Staff and server very good too...
