Our first time at Spencer's and we will definitely be back. As with many top tier places you will pay a little more, but if I evaluate cost versus value, this is one of the best dining experiences that I can refer to. The food was amazing! The service was absolutely at the top of my list, having eaten at many fine restaurants around the world, and the environment was relaxed and comfortable. We extend compliments to the chefs, the serving staff, and the management as well. Thank you.

A belated birthday celebration for me (birthday boy) and the Mrs, this visit was sublime. The filet was a perfect medium rare and the Rhône we ordered to accompany it and an array of starters (shrimp cocktail, iceberg wedge) and sides (Brussels sprouts, mushroom medley) elevated the experience still further. We are always so well treated here and cannot wait to return.

Wonderful experience, my wife and I are not huge eaters and the waitress was kind enough to split portions, made the experience all the better. Spencer Ribeye was cooked to perfection and served sliced.

Group dinners can be tricky to plan, especially when trying to plan around the NCAA tournament games. So many restaurants don’t want to be bothered by large groups. Thank you to Spencer’s for accommodating our group of eleven after all the changes. Food was delicious and ambience and service were lovely. Made for a memorable celebration for our family.

We had a great waiter, Justin who was on his A-game with service and personality! Food was delicious with a scrumptious naughty chocolate cake and espresso!!

Our table was well taken care of by our server Mike. We had two appetizers: scallops and a pimento cheese flatbread that were sensational and enjoyed by all. I had the walleye, others had steak or short ribs. Wonderful evening!

We all appreciated the attention of our server and the quality of our meal. The ribeye was done to perfection and the Mac and cheese was about the best we've had. We celebrated a birthday and our choice for our meal added to making the celebration very special!

Went for Valentine’s Day. Salad was good but then there was. 45 min wait for the steak. The steak was luke warm. Sweet potato fries were hot, tasted great and portion size was good. Had apple pie, was missing ice cream but server adjusted the ticket. Not sure I would go back.

Came to town for the Eagles concert Spencer’s came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We had a melt in your mouth steak and the truffle butter was a fantastic pairing. We will dine at Spencer’s again.

Excellent food and service. The decor and furniture needs a refresh but what we paid for was other-worldly. That may have been the best filet I’ve ever eaten.

Food and service were excellent! Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare plus. Our server, Tyler, asked us to cut into our entree to make sure it was cooked to our liking before he left our table. Nice touch.

This is fast becoming the only restaurant my wife and I visit. Our server on this visit raised the casual, comfortable, eat-in-the-bar experience to new levels of casual comfort. The filet was a perfectly-charred-on-the-outside medium-rare. Appetizers (meatballs, pork belly), salads (Signature for the Mrs, wedge for me), and sides (Brussels sprouts, mushrooms) were on point. The wine (a Spanish, mostly-Mencia blend) was a revelation. We look forward to visiting again next month.

Fantastic ribeye, perfectly marbled and cooked. And that "Naughty Chocolate Cake"--I want the recipe. Wish I lived closer, I'd come in just for dessert. The booth we sat in was perfect, quiet and roomy. Service was very good--our waiter was attentive, but not annoyingly so--he and the arrival of drinks and food was perfect timing. I truly enjoyed our special evening out. Thank you Spencers and crew!!!

Dinner was absolutely amazing! Wonderful food and drinks. The steak was perfectly cooked. The only issue we had was the server. He made us feel like we were inconveniencing him by being there and he was not friendly what so ever. It took him 20 min from when we were seated by the hostess for him to even acknowledge we were sitting there. Drinks took about 15 min to be brought out, which I completely get considering it was a holiday. When it came time to take the order he said, “what do you want?” … so we placed our order and he says “okay” grabs the menus and walks away. I completely understand it was NYE and we understood the bar could take a bit, he had other tables, and the food could take a bit, however, I still feel like politeness goes a long way. Just made us feel very uncomfortable. The only prompt service or kindness offered was when we asked for the check and he brought within 30 seconds.

My wife & I went to Spencer’s for New Year’s Eve.We have gone several times before because the Steaks,food & service have always been great! Got the 5 course special with Steaks appetizers & deserts were excellent! However would liked to have had better options to choose from for sides than scalloped potatoes & broccolini..Normally I get either Mac n cheese or mashed potatoes with brussel sprouts since they are fantastic! So the limited sides were a big let down since the scalloped potatoes were very sub par!

The food and service was phenomenal! We had a reservation and were set immediately. Our drinks were great and the chopped salad was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and left room for dessert. The key lime pie was the best I’ve had in a Midwest restaurant. Cannot express enough how great this experience was! Looking forward to coming back.

Our waitress, Ms. Marissa, was the epitome of excellence—she truly raised the bar! Her service was not just outstanding, it was top-tier. The ambience was delightful, and the food was very good. We hadn't been to Spencer's for a few years due to location. Upon this visit we were reminded of the exceptional service and quality of food, with lovely presentation that is typical of the restaurant. There was a large party in another room during our visit, but Justin's service was still top notch. We won't let a couple years pass again before returning to Spencer's.

Excellent service. My husband order lamb chops - they were perfectly prepared and he would order again. I order the special sirloin steak, perfectly prepared and tasty. Shrimp cocktail for appetizer, mustard sauce was amazing but would try a different appetizer next time. The cheesecake for dessert - also excellent. Love the seating and private booth! We will be back.

Spencer’s simply gets my wife and me. We like to dine in a quiet, old-school steakhouse that has newer-school appetizers and sides. We like inexpensive but offbeat wines. We like to sit at the bar, but order from the dinner menu. They make it easy, they deliver food to the table at a consistently high standard of quality, and the staff are thoroughly professional. We really like the meatballs, the pork belly, the spinach, and the mushroom medley to accompany a filet mignon. Kudos to the sommelier for having Spanish wines on the menu!
