Le Sparks Steak House a été ouvert en 1966 par Michael et Pasquale Cetta, d'où le logo «Cetta Brothers Steak Masters». Le restaurant est toujours une entreprise familiale, située dans le centre de Manhattan, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare Grand Central et des Nations Unies. Sparks always delivers with great food in huge portions. Nobody at the table was able to finish their entree. I had the steak w/peppers & onions and it was outstanding.

Our experience at Sparks was amazing. The food was phenomenal and our server “Lucky” was exceptional. You won’t go wrong with Lucky as your server. The wines and entrees he recommended were on point. Don’t go here if you want value, but do go if you want a memorable experience.

Best Filet Mignon ever. Huge cut and flavor in every bite. I cant say enought how good it was. The broiled shrimp were also amazing. I will definitely recommend and will definitely go back next time in NYC.

The service was very good but unfortunately not good enough to make up for the poor experience. We ordered our steak medium rare and the first time they came out they were overcooked, the second time they came out they were more on the rare side. The experience was severely overwhelming for being such a renowned steakhouse. Would not come back or recommend to anyone.

We are disappointed in our first experience here. The food was horrible. Steaks are tough and had no flavor. The spinach and mushrooms also had no flavor and we felt like it was a waste of money. Thw red snapper was not fresh and was overcooked.

Phenomenal dinner! The ambiance is perfect for a couple out wanting a private-ish setting or for a group out catching up. The place is quite large so it seems able to cater to your desires. The service is top notch. Relax and enjoy it. The food does not disappoint! Everything we ordered was outstanding. Highly recommend Sparks!

Always a favorite when we go to New York. Love the steak and mashed potatoes!!! The drinks and bartenders are always the best! Highly recommend :)

The steaks (sirloin and filet mignon) were wonderful as were the hash browns and creamed spinach. Spinach salad rocked. Combined with unhurried and friendly service, it's no wonder I've been coming here for over 50 years.

Good drinks at bar first. Nice table, effective and balanced service. Top flight sirloin and sides. Nice strong, smooth espresso. All to expectations based on prior visits.

Probably the worst dining experience I’ve had in several years. I dine out at least 100 plus times a year for work as I travel. We ate on a Sunday night here and I knew it was probably going to be a bad experience when there were a 50-60 empty tables and only a handful of tables occupied. We came here for their live whole lobsters and were told that the only size lobsters they had left were the 5lb lobsters that cost $175. I said really, only 5lb ones not the 3lb ones, and our waiter said sorry, and that the smaller ones were better anyway. The drinks were terrible and my daughter’s cosmopolitan was basically pure vodka and my old fashioned had no flavor and they added soda water. I told the waiter my wife z was bd I were going to share the filet mignon and instead of bringing it out on one plate to share the chef actually cut the filet in two thin filets and cooked it so basically it was cooked all the way through and ruined the filet. We were there for work and asked our waiter to itemize the receipt so we could all submit the receipts and the waiter said he could only divide it in half. I said that was unacceptable and he then asked another waiter who said “oh yes, that’s easy, I can do it for him.” We also felt red pushed the entire time through the meal. This is a dying restaurant and I’m sure it will be closed for good soon!
