Tobie and Conrad are standout host and server. 5 they made our experience at Spago extra special. We will definitely dine here again for the exceptional service and attention to detail. Everything was delicious... the cocktails, appetizers, main and desserts were all beyond fabulous.

A wonderful experience. My son was in town, and he wanted to go to Spago. We dined in the patio tonight where the ambience is so elegant. We started by sharing a Pizza with Prosciutto Di San Danielle followed by the Black Truffle Risotto. A powerful combination of flavors and delightful experiences. As often occurs we were gifted by the presence of Wolfgang Puck's greeting. It is always a pleasure to see and talk with him. For dinner, we individually ordered the Singaporian Style Branzino, Wagyu New York Striploin and Austrian Wienerschnitzel. All wonderful and flavorful meals elegantly presented and enjoyed with great pleasure. Desert was a shared combination of the Pavlova and a truly amazing Dark Chocolate Souffle. We have had the Souffle before and it is my favorite. So rich and moist. During the meal, at a table of 2 near us, the gentlemen arose to later return, and his guest focused on her phone. From across the room, Wolfgang Puck wearing a blue suit walked across the room, picked up his napkin, folded it, placed it down and walked away unnoticed by the table. What an extraordinary commitment to excellence.

Classic special dinner restaurant. Beautiful building and dining rooms. Stunning food presentation. Service was not as gracious as on past visits but food still creative and tasty. Have visited this restaurant several times… would return for nostalgic reasons.

A Night of Culinary Revelry: Paula Sardinas' Memorable Dinner at Spago Beverly Hills As the sun dipped below the horizon, I found myself at Spago Beverly Hills, ready to embark on a culinary journey. With eager anticipation, I delved into the menu, my heart set on discovering the flavors that awaited me. I indulged in the "Born a Star" cocktail, a whimsical concoction that sparkled with promise. With each sip, I felt a sense of excitement building, knowing that the evening held countless delights in store. For my first course, I savored the split pea soup, a comforting embrace on a chilly evening. Its rich, velvety texture warmed me from the inside out, evoking memories of home-cooked meals shared with loved ones. Next came the big-eye tuna cones, a playful twist on a classic favorite. Each bite was a revelation, with the delicate flavors of the tuna perfectly complemented by the crisp cone shell. The dish danced on my palate, leaving me craving more. And then, the pièce de résistance—the roasted half Jidori chicken. As I took my first bite, I was transported to culinary heaven. It was an overall excellent experience. Conrad, our waiter, was exceptional. The sommelier was exceedingly helpful. And the experience of meeting Wolfgang Puck, who was gracious and kind, was simply terrific. The food, as you would expect, was amazing. Highly recommend.

I booked a birthday dinner at Spago. The valet was courteous. The restaurant staff did acknowledge that we were celebrating a special night. The food was delicious and the servers were fantastic. James and George really went out of their way to make sure my friend had an amazing first time visit for her birthday. The salmon pizza and the tuna cones, as well as the branzino were perfect. Good job! Highly recommend this staple of dining in LA.

I like this restaurant, but this time the food was not good. The schnitzel was tasteless, the crust was raised and crumbled, the lamb was overcooked.

Incredible. We ordered salmon and caviar pizza with both black and red caviar, tuna tartar cones, salad, champagne and dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Excellent service. Will dedicate be coming back.

The last few times we have been to Spago, it has been a struggle to find something on the menu we actually wanted to eat. When we asked our server to tell us about an appetizer & he promptly stated not to order that one but to order a pea dish instead…. Hate peas, would never order that. The menu was missing a majority of what they show online, just very disappointing. We will have to find a new place for LA celebrations I guess….

Was für ein fantastischer Abend! Als Auslandsösterreicher auf Urlaub in LA und im Spago’s zu Gast… Herausragender Service, unglaublich kreative Küche und dann noch Wolfgang Puck persönlich da, um sich um die Gäste zu kümmern… Es könnte nicht besser sein. Ein wunderschöner Abend, der noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird! Vielen Dank, bis zum nächsten Mal!

Great quality & plating of food, but many SERIOUS PROBLEMS: 1) very weak & missing Server “Emre/John”, says he will check on something needed fast & does NOT return & near clueless on preannounced Dairy-free & Gluten-free needed meals & options, 2) all prices 25-50% WAY TOO HIGH (yes, the yummy but small “Apple Salad” app was $28., small side of Brussel Sprouts $18., a trio of 3 yummy small sorbet scoops $27.)…ouch, 3) server said that the sous chef flat-out REFUSED to offer or modify existing items listed on menu or improvise to accommodate my pre-announced Dairy & Gluten free guest (yes, they ask you MANY times upon making Resy), hard to order any apps or pastas or breads or plain veggies. Even most corner Italian & Pizza & Pita joints offer gluten free breads & pastas & veggies for sold hummus dips nowadays…but NOT Wolfgang & his famous Spago. And yes, 4) the stated “pooled tip” model clearly damages service at Spago, a big mistake, as old-fashion caring about serving & connecting with your customer seems GONE. And yes, 5) owners Barbara & Wolfgang and their lovely GM Steve were not present on Sunday night to connect or say hi. Times are changing…

We were looking forward to this dinner as it was our 10 year anniversary. We were greeted nicely at the door by the hostess who wished us a happy anniversary and led us to a prime booth in the dining room. Very pleased. We picked the heart of palm and apple and chicory salad. After it came, I had to ask for the menu as I didn't remember reading about endives in this dish. Sure enough we didn't have heart of palm but did get endives. We notified the waiter who apologized, took it off our bill and offered a replacement. We picked the tuna cones, and he suggested a 4th cone, an upsell we couldn't say no to, but ended up being quite pricey at $50. He also suggested a larger portion on my fettucine which hardly had any Chantrelle mushrooms and was quite unremarkable taste wise. Looks like upselling is a common practice by waiters here, something i haven't seen much of around town. Our drinks were ok but not all that exciting. A glass of Remy Martin 1738 could have benefited from a touch of grand Marnier but I did not ask. She was happy with her wine selection. The branzino was also fine. We picked the sacher torte for dessert which did not rate that high for us. The waiter never mentioned our anniversary, did not put a candle on the dessert we paid for let alone offer a complimentary something. The room looked great and quite full throughout the evening which is quite remarkable over 25 years into their operation. In comparison a high end restaurant next door was EMPTY when we came and when we left. Other patrons of all age groups seemed pretty happy with their experience. But for us, the cooking here seemed a little out of touch with what's being done around town by up and coming chefs, some of them spago alumni.

This location is superb and from the moment you walk in until you step foot out the door it’s perfection. I love coming here. My favorite place, my favorite food. I just love it!

Wonderful evening! Drinks, starters, entrees, and desserts were amazing! We were especially surprised to have Wolfgang Puck and Barbara Lazaroff stop by to say hello. It was such a lovely evening.

The service was awful for an upscale restaurant we expected better. We were embarrassed in front of our out of town guests who were very disappointed after looking forward to a memorable evening. The food was mediocre at best and was served incosistenly. Will not recommend Spago in the future.

The hostess could not have been warmer or more welcoming. Gave us a quiet table by the fireplace which I had requested. Waiter was very attentive & did not rush us thru courses. The food was superb & was better than I even remember. Had a wonderful experience & will return soon!
