We are a fresh breath of class and style in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Located in Southern Pines, we offer an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and sophistication, where steak is our specialty. We have an extensive wine cellar featuring 3500 bottles, 20 of which we are pouring by the glass. Please join us between 5pm and 6pm to receive $3 off all entrees and steaks.

My son-in-law ordered a ribeye but was served a sirloin. We talked to the manager who refused to correct the error and then proceeded to argue about it. We were there for a college graduation so it was quite disappointing!

Have visited Southern Prime many times but had not been in about 1 year. This was for our birthdays(wife and myself). The quality and service was just as good as it ever was Cocktails are excellent and people are so nice.

The food was prepared to our exact expectations, Van was the finest waiter I've ever dealt with and the ambience sitting in the wine room is as good as it gets. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Cocktails, salads, steaks, lobster and chocolate desserts were all delicious. But the mashed potatoes and market vegetables were very bland. The apples in the cobbler tasted like they came from a can. Service and atmosphere were excellent although we did have to wait a bit too long for our entrees and desserts.

The food was excellent as expected,our waitress was knowledgable, friendly and professional. The Kitchen was VERY slow, we arrived at 7:00, ordered at 7:15 and received our food at 8:10ish..after asked where our food was.

We had another fabulous dinner at Southern Prime Steakhouse! Ashlee was a fantastic server - helpful, efficient and sweet. Austin, the manager, stopped by to say hi and was personable and gracious. All of the other people helping were super pleasant. The food and drinks were excellent and everyone made this a memorable birthday dinner. Thanks, all! We’ll be back soon!

8 of us. Steaks extremely overcooked. Sides just ok. Allowed multiple groups of grown men to wear hats (forwards and backwards) at the dinner table of what is marketed as a fine dining experience. It is definitely not. Go to Elliot’s on Lindell or Chef Warrens. Spend your money and time on better food and ambiance.
