SMK consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience, making it a reliable choice for a great meal. While the desserts may not reach the same heights as before due to the departure of the former chef, they still maintain a high standard of quality. Our recent visit, celebrating my son's 16th birthday, was thoroughly enjoyable. Even he, to our surprise, savored the collard greens. With such positive experiences, we eagerly anticipate returning to this exceptional restaurant time and again.

Came for a team building dinner from out of town, my team came from Philly, NYC and Toronto). We were welcomed warmly, received great service and the food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

We went for Mothers Day brunch and we sat on the rooftop in the shaded area. Great experience and the food was really good! Service was good too! Will go again!

Food was ok. We had the Brussel sprouts appetizer which enjoyed as its crispy/burned. My wife not so much. I had the crab cakes over a cream corn with broccoli. Pretty good. Service was below average. Waited 10-15 minutes before someone came and took our drink order. Since it took so long to get our drink order we ordered out appetizer which came out maybe 20 minutes and than our main dishes came out less than 5 minutes after that which was disappointing.

Fabulous experience! Some of the best Brussels sprouts that I ever had. From the first sip of the SMK Old Fashion to the last sip of coffee the meal and the service were perfect.

We been to this venue several times and it appears that the chef isn’t doing any thing creative with the entree. Most of the dishes have the same base ingredients and nothing fancy. I ordered the shrimp pasta with pesto and peas. It was loaded with sauce and overbearing! Sent it back and they replaced it l, but at that point I got it to go and wasn’t too pleased. Definitely won’t be back

We had a great experience. A special celebration with close friends. Food was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress Maddison was outstanding providing excellent service and showing great consideration of our wants and needs.

Continues to be one of the best for innovative food in downtown Alpharetta. The menu is always interesting and the food is excellent. Drink menu is also creative with unique choices. Never disappoints.

Consistently have had a good experience at SMK. On the Friday night we were there, the noise level was a bit too much. But other than that, the food quality, service and drinks were excellent.

South Main Kitchen is one of our go tos. We took some friends for their first time there and they loved it also. The food was consistent and as always amazing, our server was attentive, and the vibe was great.

Wonderful food, very busy when we arrived but was seated promptly at our reservation time and service was attentive. We were not rushed which was nice. Overall great experience.

We had early reservations prior to an Alpharetta Symphony concert. We ordered a basket of the yummy bread with our cocktails; then ordered our entrees. I had pan-seared scallops with risotto and my husband had the blackened red fish with grits. Both entrees were delicious! Xavier our server was charming, professional, and prompt. Perfect beginning to our date night!

The carrot appetizer is amazing. The wedge salad was also very good. We both had the Red Fish for dinner. It was very tasty on top of the grits. The raspberry cheesecake was also very good.

One of my favorite spots in Alpharetta! Great vibe, great food, great service! My favorite appetizer: deviled eggs. Favorite dish: I order the Brussel sprouts and have them add salmon on top (cooked to chef’s preference). Perfect meal! Highly recommend South Main Kitchen!

From start to finish...Nicole called to confirm table and make a suggestion of a diff table due to weather and it was perfectly handled and very very professional and nice! ( a lost concept) Xavier, our server ..he had 6 demanding women! He was awesome...overall great experience...great food and and would do it again, BTW it was my mothers 83rd birthday and she wanted for nothing and they were awesomely attentive. Thanks you guys!

We ate here on Christmas Eve after a poor service experience at another downtown Alpharetta restaurant the previous Christmas Eve. South Main had their A team working. Xavier took great care of us, the food was excellent, the dining room full and buzzing. We had a great experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

A neighbor gem that never disappoints. Limited menu but everything I've had is tasty. Best roasted brussel sprouts anywhere and the shrimp app is nice as well.

Great time at dinner. The dining seats are way too close. Table next to us was a large group and extremely loud. Also! Staff and manager need to learn how to use open tables rewards!
