I have eaten at 11 the restaurant numerous times. Mother’s Day was a very big disappointment. My ribeye steak was maybe a half inch thick no marbling that I could tell. It was tough. My mother fil-A was over cooked to a little blackened brick. I can’t believe it was served. Two salmon dinners were very good. This was a big disappointment for Mother’s Day on my part. I think I need to go to a different stake restaurant again like Dominics their chef is great all meals always please.

The food and service were fantastic! My biggest iasue is that it is NOT wheelchair accessible and very difficult to access with any other sort of disability. The entrance is down some steep set of stairs with ZERO alternatives to enter. My boyfriend is disabled and needs a left railing to hold onto to use his cane to go down stairs properly. For the first 6 stairs there isn't a stable railing on the left side. He almost fell twice trying to get down the stairs. Nothing anywhere on their website tells you that this place is not accessible which is totally disappointing. Not illegal but not honest either that they don't disclose that. And somewhat discriminating in my opinion.

Service was terrific. We were seated in the bar and if you have a bad back do not let them seat you in there at the high tops since the backrest is not good. The Carpaccio was creative and extremely non traditional. My NY strip looked like half of the biggest strip I’ve ever seen and the ribeye was even fattier than is typical. The fries were VERY salty so skip those. The asparagus and baked potato were good but again very salty. Wine prices are 2.5X retail.

Excellent service and great food. We were there for Mother’s Day brunch which was also graduation weekend for CSU. It was busy but service was outstanding and the food was great. They even gave a flower to each mom.

We were disappointed. It appears there were problems with kitchen as several 4 and 6 tops had been waiting awhile for their orders. Avocado toast app was excellent! Eggs Benedict were a major disappointment. Large plates each with a store bought English muffin topped with 2 very small poached eggs. Spring mix was added as garnish.

The ribeye was awful! The mashed potatoes were so salty we couldn’t eat them and we tend to like salted food. The tomato soup was so bad we left that as well. The ricotta appetizer- terrible, plain ricotta on a pastry- absolutely no flavor. The asparagus was stringy. Basically we became for a nice dinner and ended up eating french fries.

We had a little bit of a snafu on graduation night in getting to our reservation on time. The staff at Sonny Lubick’s went above and beyond to accommodate us on what was probably one of their busiest days of the year. We had a lovely meal with our whole family to celebrate my son’s graduation. Thank you!!!

Sonny Lubick was a wonderful place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. The service was fantastic, the staff went above and beyond to celebrate with us - and they were swamped with all the other people there. They were well prepared and everything was outstanding. The food was excellent as well. Kudos to Ashley and Greg for making this a special evening. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have enjoyed our Anniversary dinner there every year (except the Covid year) and we’ve never been disappointed in any way. The food is great, the service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for the occasion. Highly recommended!

Only food critique would be the Brussels sprouts were slightly overcooked. Other than that the meals were great. Service was phenomenal. Price was inline with the level of steakhouse there are trying to be. Primer on was a great value. Steaks average. For 13.00 the Cesar salad could have been more impressive. Drinks reasonable. Will definitely return.

It was an enjoyable night. The service is slow. But I think it’s intentional. Obviously trying not to rush anyone. But sometimes it was a little too much so. Definitely would go again.

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. I used to love this place, but last night is the last time I will be dining at Sonny Lubick's. It started with the appetizer; we ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell, but when the waitress came back out, she told us they where out and there were only two oysters left. So instead, we ordered the calamari appetizer and the shrimp cocktail. We got about 7 rings of calamari and about 2 shrimp that were sliced in half for a total of 4 thinly sliced pieces of shrimp. Fine, onto the main courses. My son ordered the scallops main course and instead of the standard sides he asked if he could get risotto on the side instead. The waitress told him she'd put in the order for the risotto and add the scallops. What he didn't realize is that she put his order in for the Risotto main course and added the scallops main course to it! He didn't know until the bill came that my $30 main course now turned into a $62 main course. Sad... My wife ordered the filet, med rare. It came out raw, sent it back to have it done to med rare. Still came out raw in the middle, burnt on the outside. She sent it back and ordered the salmon instead, med rare. It came out overcooked, but we were tired of complaining about it. After the Salmon came for the birthday person everyone else was done and she took the dinner home. My daughter in law and I each ordered the prime rib. We each received our meat done exactly the opposite of what we requested (med and med rare respectively). We just traded. My grandson ordered burger and fries. That was fine. On to dessert. We ordered the famous Sonny's Butter Cake. Of course they were out of the Butter Cake. We ordered the flourless chocolate torte instead. It was fine, nothing special. I expected much better quality and availability of food for the $300 price tag that we ended up with. Like I said, I really used to like Sonny Lubick's, I'm not exactly sure what happened.

the server had a difficult time finding a suitable serving of salt & pepper. The chef is not that good----and I choose to season my food. The Brussel Sprouts were UNDER COOKED and the skins BURNED. The bread service was slow and very, very small for anyone-----looked "cheap". This "was" a classic place in Ft. Collins and I may not go back---there are too many just as good and or better restaurants in the NOCO area.

So I have been many times and had to send my 62$ filet back as I wanted medium rare and got medium well. Did not get my steak until everyone ate! Seriously bad service no compensation ! You’re only the second steakhouse in 30 years I’ve sent m food back! Shame on you

Greg’s service was fantastic and so was our assistant server. The food was delightful and the recommended special was lovely. The waiter had excellent menu knowledge.

Came in to celebrate a birthday, they had a birthday card and everything set up at the table for us! Everyone who was helping with the section our table was in, acknowledged that we were celebrating and gave birthday wishes. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning for other celebrations.

The food and service at Sonny Lubick is outstanding. This most recent visit was during the great plates event, and I had the prime rib. The best prime rib I’ve ever had. For what you get even not doing great plates I find it a very good value. The servers and the bartenders are just amazing

We visited Sonny Lubick for Great Plates and tried both specials. The prime rib was flavorful and served at the requested temperature, though cut fairly thin. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but was served with room temperature roasted fingerling potatoes with bacon. At $45 it seemed pricey, whereas the $35 prime rib seemed reasonable.

We went to Sonny’s for Great Plates. We have always enjoyed the prime rib. This time it was awful. Stringy, chewy and impossible to cut. Dull steak knives didn’t help. Great service by Jonathan. Caesar salad was fair. Good Pinot Noir. Won’t return.

Went with four friends for Great Plates. Four of us had prime rib and one had salmon. All were great and I particularly enjoyed horseradish cream offered with the beef. Four people also enjoyed the butter cake and crème brûlée. Great service, nice ambiance. Glad to support Great Plates with such a nice destination!
