Il est impossible de parler de Printer's Alley sans mentionner le Rainbow Room, détenu et géré par l'une des véritables stars de Printer's Alley, David « Skull » Schulman. Juste avant l'ouverture, Skull avait été agressé par deux personnes et brutalement assassiné. Ses meurtriers avaient été capturés, mais la discothèque n'a jamais rouvert. Après une fermeture de presque deux décennies, le Rainbow Room a rouvert ses portes à son emplacement d'origine, dans l'historique Printer's Alley, sous le nom de Skull's Rainbow Room, en hommage au regretté David « Skull » Schulman. Dans le légendaire Skull's Rainbow Room, le menu d'origine est affiché au mur et le barman prépare d'une main experte une foule de cocktails post-Prohibition. Vous profiterez d'une cuisine américaine contemporaine et d'un service impeccable dans une atmosphère relaxante. Deux fois par nuit, vous assisterez à un spectacle burlesque chic et sobre. Des concerts sont organisés 7j/7.

    The food was amazing. We had a 10:15 reservation to enjoy the burlesque show. Unfortunately we couldn’t see well from our table as musicians and many standing were between us and the show. I expected more entertainment than a strip show, which is what it appeared to be. The staff were enjoying themselves very loudly near the bar.

    We were so excited to get a reservation here. We had a great seat with a nice view of the band. We ordered dinner and a bottle of wine. In less than 5 mins the food came out and we were almost done before the wine was served. We were excited about the ‘experience’. When the food came out so fast it was almost like the wanted to turn the table. I don’t think we will return.

    We had a dinner reservation to end our Nashville vacation. After being seated we were given a glass of water, then watched our “server” Genevieve proceed to get dessert for 2 other tables and setup multiple tables for other guests. After not even receiving an acknowledgement that we existed over 25mins. we left. I highly recommend Chris Ruby’s down the street… they sat us immediately without a reservation, the service was top notch and the food excellent. I guess this old place just rests on it’s laurels

    We told the server we had tickets to show and asked to get dessert. He waited on table next to ours three times including bringing them two rounds of drinks before coming back after our entrees. We had to leave because of show starting even though our reservation was 2 hours before showtime. Many servers standing around huddled and talking.

    We went on a Thursday at 5 pm-other couples were waiting for the door to open. We were seated quickly and our waiter got our menus and drinks rather easily. We ordered and our appetizer and food came in a reasonable time. We shared the eggplant for an appetizer and we got the 2 specials - salmon and filet steak. Sauces on the food was outstanding. As the restaurant filled the noise level increased. Live Piano played in the background-nice. We were there about 2 hours-waiter got busy as his tables filled up. Definitely need reservations.

    Everything was perfect! Service, food, music and ambience were all outstanding. We picked a winner! Must do in Printer’s Alley when visiting Nashville.

    If you prefer speakeasy to honky tonk then this is the place for you. Wonderful smooth ambience, live jazz/songs. No rushed service. Comfy seating. Great cocktails, extremely tasty food.
