    Que magnifique! Very yummy, the price was high but so worth it, excellent way to spend a Friday night. Ask for the wine menu to be wowed!

    Amazing experience, we were the only people in the restaurant for a while and it was so nice and quiet the entire time. Gorgeous restaurant with amazing food and wonderful staff!! They were very knowledgeable about the food that they serve and were super friendly. They insisted on taking pictures of me and my mom which I really appreciated!! It was a lovely lunch and we will be recommending it to others for sure!

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sistina in New York City, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect setting for both a romantic evening and a special occasion with friends. The service was impeccable—attentive and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. Our server provided excellent recommendations and was attentive without being intrusive. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the shrimp carpaccio, which was incredibly fresh and delicately seasoned. The stuffed sardines were a delightful surprise, perfectly balanced in flavor. For our main courses, we had the squash linguini and the seafood linguini. Both dishes were outstanding, with the squash linguini offering a unique, savory twist and the seafood linguini bursting with fresh, ocean flavors. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, offering a range of options that complement the menu perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our selection, thanks to the sommelier's expert guidance. Overall, Sistina exceeded all our expectations. It's clear that great care and attention to detail are put into every aspect of the dining experience here. I highly recommend Sistina to anyone looking for an outstanding Italian dining experience in NYC.

    My wife and I had dinner on Saturday night at 9:00 after visiting the Sleeping Beauties exhibit at the Met Museum. We sat at a lovely round corner table in the front dining room. We started with the salad special, sushi, and the asparagus soup. The main courses were just as delicious. But the dinner was marred by the restaurant's failure to enforce its "smart casual" dress code. As we were served, an adjacent table of five came in. There was an older man and four young adults, three women and one young man in crop tops, tee shirts, and yards of tattoos. They were dressed for a pizzeria. I understand that the restaurant business can be slow on a holiday weekend and they wished to accommodate this group. They could have lent the group the sport coats that the waiter wear, and the owner could have apologized. Shame on them. The meal for two of us was $358 and we left a generous tip for the friendly waiter. While we have been before, we won't go back.

    Wonderful food! Swordfish was off the charts. Excellent service in a lovely outdoor space.

    I had wanted an elegant, quiet, higher end restaurant to celebrate my anniversary. It is a very pretty place, but there was a big party in the adjoining room which made it quite noisy, and far from relaxing. They should have doors to separate the rooms and to soften the noise when they have big parties in that space. The food was good but not great, and disappointing considering the prices. $35 for a glass of wine???? I am willing to spend for quality and ambiance, but dinner here was not worth the price. Lastly, a man who I assumed was the chef/owner spent a fair amount of time making the rounds of the tables and speaking with diners, but never stopped by our table. Really??? I will never return.

    very high end restaurant - first class food and service wine list prices started at 150 per bottle and went up from there to the stratosphere good place for a very special occasion

    We usually love this restaurant but were disappointed celebrating my son’s birthday. When I was seated, waiting for my guests I was asked if I wanted a cocktail more than five times! I politely replied I was waiting for my guests. We were quickly offered ‘compli’ Parmesan and prosciutto to go with the bread and were surprised to see a $60 charge on the bill for that amenity! Not cool! One of our guests entree did not arrive with the others and by the time it did our entrees were not hot. I had reminded the staff 3 times that it was my son’s birthday (when I booked the res, when they called to confirm and when I entered the restaurant) but no candle appeared with the desserts. I had to go ask for a candle which they then sent. The food was ok but not worth the price tag - gorgeous setting and courteous staff.

    The friendly staff accommodated our need to switch from a too sunny table to a more shady area of the restaurant. The service was impeccable, the Italian maitre di engaged me in an exchange in Italian while being courteous to my French speaking partner. The food was delicious and promptly served. We were not rushed and had chance for a nice after lunch conversation. Great place.
