We had our 38 th wedding Anniversary there last night. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and a fantastic waitstaff and maitre d. It could not have been better Thank you

Fabulous as always but large table nearby was so loud it was difficult to carry on our conversation. This is not usual at Sistina but made a serious business dinner very challenging.

Franco is an amazing waiter. It was a birthday lunch. He made it joyous. The food was delicious beyond compare. Can't wait to go back. Beautiful, great food, great service.

The food is exceptional! The artichoke salad and chicken meatballs were delicious. The dessert with oishii strawberries was outstanding.

Seriously good, high end restaurant. Decor is fantastic, staff is very friendly and attentive. It’s expensive but that’s because it’s a luxury.

The food at Sistina was very good. Service was fine. Prices (particularly for drinks and specials) are astronomical for fairly standard Italian fare. A bowl of asparagus soup (a "special") turned out to be $40. Drinks start at $25 and go up from there. Note also that the menu on the restaurant's website has outdated prices (likely hasn't been updated in a few years). Even though the menu has the same apps/entrees, prices are about 15% to 20% higher now. All in all, a nice restaurant in a nice UES location, but we likely won't return.

We sat down and within 15 minutes about 4 servers came over to take our order. We had no time to enjoy a glass of wine and have a conversation.

Beautiful setting for a delightful special occasion. The setting is enchanting and the service excellent and personalized. Of course one pays for such a beautiful spot in NYC. Worth it for the significant celebrations. Even beautiful in the warmer weather when eating outside facing the Met feels like Paris. For us a most wonderful neighborhood eatery.

Felt a bit rushed. Surprised we could not order only an appetizer before deciding on next course; had to order “the whole package”, we were told. A long list of specials was described orally to us, by a waiter with an accent, and could not be presented in writing. This made it challenging and frustrating in deciding what we might want to order. Some great decor but very noisy when busy. We would not return nor recommend, even though food was nice.

Our absolute favorite restaurant anywhere. It’s our “go to” place for special occasions and romantic dinners. We can’t say enough about the staff, the food and the ambience. Everything is ALWAYS perfect. We’re always looking forward to our next dinner at Sistina. We live an hour away and it’s never too far to go. We love the greeting we get when we arrive, “welcome back,” and the rest of our visit is just as special. There’s no place better!

An old school Italian with white table cloths and service from Italian men in blue monogrammed double breasted blazers . Very upper East side atmosphere convenient to the Metropolitan Museum for lunch or early dinner. Nice pastas and good salads. It was quiet at lunch but probably hums in the evening. In its own way, a neighborhood spot.

This was my first time dining at Sistina. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was divine and the waitstaff first rate. Additionally, the chef comes to your table with a selection of 8 different breads that are made fresh in their kitchen each day. The menu is mostly Italian. You are served gorgeous prosciutto and chunks of Parmasean with your drink. I had the grilled octopus and cannolini beans to start. It was tender and delicious. My main was the branzino baked in a sel de mer shell. It was divine. I had a chocolate soufflé for desert with an espresso. Really enjoyed my meal, as did my friends who joined me.

Excellent lunch - started with the amazing artichoke Soup and the delicious famous putana spritz Cocktail - then an amazing pasta with truffles side order of white Asparagus with morels mushrooms and Parmesan foam and dessert of fraises des bois wild strawberries with zabaglioni Doesn't get any better than this !! Decadent and so tasty. Great quality ingredients. Top notch staff
