One of the best austrian cuisines in town. Excellent wines and beers. Very small and cosy place with an oven in winter and a see-and-be-seen terrace on one of Berlin's busiest gay streets in summer. And now with a first floor - the Belle Etage - with two extra rooms.

The food was quite good, but the staff was excellent. It started to rain while we were eating outside and they somehow got us all out of the rain.

Ich finde es schade, dass die Preise der Gerichte teils durch „Verschleierungstaktik“ versucht werden, optisch angemessen zu halten. Durch das „Baukasten“-Prinzip addieren sich Beträge für ein Gericht auf, sodass es preislich schon einen „Höhenflug“ gibt. Ich empfinde es ehrlicher, den Gesamtpreis für ein Gericht auch als solchen auszuweisen und gleichzeitig traurig, dass mittlerweile zu solchen Mitteln gegriffen wird. Wer bestellt schon ein Schnitzel ohne jegliche Beilagen? ;-)

Alexander ist ein echter Gastgeber. Er ist immer freundlich, fröhlich und versteht es, seine Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Das Essen ist durchweg auf einem guten Niveau. Die Temperatur im Lokal ist allerdings regelmäßig zu hoch. Gestern waren es wieder 28 Grad. Wir könnten mehr trinken, aber es ist nicht angenehm
