The frozen strawberry margarita was disappointing. Much too sweet and not very frozen. I had expected better. The food was very good.

Went on Cinco de Mayo, so the restaurant may have been a bit noisier than usual. But the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent despite how busy it was. Food was excellent, and everyone enjoyed. Drinks were also great. Would definitely come back!

First off I rarely if ever give negative feedback - however this experience was so poor - I felt I had to. First the service was abysmal- we waited to order to receive our food and to pay for an extraordinary amount of time while our waiter chatted up waitress just out side of the dining area - even glancing at us while we stared him down to bring us a check - the food was incredibly bland - not one item had any flavor - no refill of water or chips or offer for any sauces etc. My son and I shared a 4 item selection off the menu and we had to share a plate because we couldn’t get the waiter’s attention to bring us additional plates. We have eaten in 40 to 50 Mexican restaurants in NYC over the years and this is the worst by far. Food/service and pricing were all just unacceptable

High expectations considering the reviews. Fajitas were warmed up and not fresh. The chicken was nearly inedible. Would not recommend. Building also smells pretty bad

Went here with co-workers after work. The service was amazing and the food was outstanding! Definitely will be going back! The deep fried ice cream was my favorite!

Sinigual was all-around incredible. Not too crowded for a Friday night and plenty of space that tables weren't on top of each other. The service was excellent and the pace of food being brought out to us was good. All of the food and drinks tasted amazing, we got fajitas, tacos, and enchiladas. Tableside guac was delicious too. I would definitely recommend for a night out as a couple or a group outing.

Wonderful restaurant. It was NOT noisy. Background music was perfect and it was easy to talk. I got the tomato soup and the salmon. My husband got guacomole and veggie fajitas. All food exceptional. We will be back!

The food at Sinigual did not disappoint. I searched for a place near pur hotel with good ratings. Count me as another satisfied customer! The table side guacamole was fresh and delish. The drinks were innovative and refreshing. Many entrees were elevated beyond traditional Mexican cuisine-- like burritos made with beef filet. The entrees were seasoned perfectly.

Happy hour was worth the drink cost, just expected more out of the platter, very lackluster. Very nice service making sure we got our last drink order in before 7 and nice ambience.

Had chicken fajitas. Chicken was well seasoned but a bit on the dry side. Service was great! We had a large party and no one was overlooked despite it being a full house that night.

We took some friends from Italy for an Easter brunch. They loved it, as did we. We’re Sinigual regulars and were delighted that visitors from food-centric country enjoyed it as much as we do. Love the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles!

Top class Mexican, the shrimp appetizer was excellent,as were my fish tacos and the steak fajitas. The best thing we ate was the flan dessert.

This was an amazing restaurant; beautifully decorated. Bar was terrific; & food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Servers were very friendly & professional. So happy to know about it.

We waited 10 minutes for anyone to speak to us. There were only 10-12 people there at the time. Our waiter never checked on us had to ask other staff to get him. Brought us the wrong drinks. Stood 5 feet away from us flirting with someone he absolutely knew. This went on for 25 minutes we had to finally interrupt his flirting to ask for another drink. He said if you give me a good review on Yelp or Google I’ll get you another drink. We were shocked and said that is not how service works he then said well no drink. At this point we got our checked paid and left. Not a good impression for our trip

We had a great time. The atmosphere is modern, artistic and Mexican. Our food was very good, as was the service. Their combination plates are better than most places. The fish taco, enchilada, tamale and fried ice cream were all delicious. A great place for friends, couples, business meals and celebrations.

Sinigual is a neighborhood gem. During the week, it’s bustling with an energetic work crowd. But I love it on the weekends, during which you see more locals mingling with tourists. Brunch is especially nice: it’s relatively quiet, and the food and drink offerings are delicious, plentiful and reasonable.

We wanted something nearby to Grand Central, not too expensive, and great food. Sinigual was perfect! Our table was ready right away, the wait staff was excellent, and the food and drinks were outstanding. We had the tableside guacamole and usually when I ask for guacamole to be not spicy at restaurants it's always still too spicy for me to handle, but this was perfectly unspiced per my request. We had frozen margaritas, passionfruit flavor, and both loved our enchiladas and taquitos. I would absolutely recommend and will be back!!

My family and I had a great time at sinigual. The food and drinks were made to perfection. The place is nicely decorated and bathrooms are also very clean. I recommend trying sinigual if you like Mexican food. Thank you Richard the manager, Danny and chef Juan.

I’ve been dining at Sinigual for years and they never disappoint. First, I’d like to give a special shout out to the lovely hostess who changed our table to a booth - much appreciated. Our waiter Luigi was fantastic - efficient, friendly and professional. I had the Mexican chopped salad (always delish) and my friend had the grilled fajita salad which smelled amazing. The fried ice cream for dessert is to die for! Highly recommend Sinigual if you’re in the neighborhood. Conveniently located blocks from Grand Central and the 7 train. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming.

Overall average food was nothing special. Service was good. The place was incredibly hot not well regulated for temperature. The margaritas tasted absent of tequila. I likely wouldn’t return.
