This place was phenomenal. We went for the bottomless brunch and couldn’t have been happier. The food was fantastic and our server Tommy was very friendly, helpful and on top of everything! Would definitely go back!

My experience with my family was very good. Some of the food did arrive at the table called, but they have no issue with providing more. I would go back again, the ambience and vibe of the restaurant was extremely cool.

It’s a fine restaurant. Theme is good. Server was knowledgeable and attentive. When our check came it was not noted the gratuity was included. Certainly would have been 20% or better for the service - just always frustrating that it seems gratuity is included and there is an effort made not to point this out. I would much prefer “we’ve included a 20% gratuity, but any additional consideration would be appreciated” than the clandestine approach of ‘hopefully they add 20% to our 20%”. We were even brought checks at the end of dinner that were not itemized (after providing our cards). Which we had to track down the staff to inquire whether gratuity had been added. Nice restaurant and I wouldn’t let this stand in the way of enjoying the ambience, but it’s a bit of a “buyer beware” aspect.

What happened!? The brunch price went up which is understandable but not when the food quality then goes down! Food was lightly below average and the service was terrible. Dirty plates stacked ups it’s no one willing to take them and many orders forgotten and had to ask for twice! This just doesn’t match the price point at all. Never returning to Sinema again as you get higher quality food for the same if not less in Nashville for brunch.

Extremely over priced for the quality and taste. We sat at our table for an hour before our entrees even got to us, & there were only maybe 5 tables occupied. We’d have been better off going to Hampton Social.

I had a good experience at Sinema. I was there with 5 of my friends for brunch. I am so glad that catfish was added to the menu, but at the same time, I was disappointed that the Cinnamon pancakes were gone. The rest of the items were good

We had another amazing date night at Sinema last evening. Everything from the atmosphere, food and service was five star! This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants for date night. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!

Cute place. Can’t see the movie playing in the dining room. Food was good, but not worth the money. It’s good if you can eat a lot! Other than that, not really worth the price.

80% of the food that came out was cold and the flavors were bland. Water and juice were also on the warm side. The restaurant itself had a fun ambiance to it.

I believe for brunch there should be serving utensils given without having to be requested. In addition, if it is 4 adults at a table, the serving sizes should be bigger or individual plates should be given for certain items. It doesn’t make sense to put one over easy egg on a few potatoes and give it to a group. Each person should receive the item.

I planned a nice birthday weekend for me and my friends and sisters to patronize black owned businesses in Nashville. I searched and found that Sinema is a black owned business so I added it to our to do list. I was excited to experience Sinema after seeing the website and my sisters told me about their good experience with the brunch there. First, let me say the service was great for the most part. Our server was very nice and so was the manager (after we had a couple of complaints about drinks and food, the drinks were replaced and the food was taken off the bill). I had the Chicken Parmesan which was just ok. My sister and one of my girlfriends ordered the oysters, which they enjoyed. No one seemed impressed or excited about their meal choice. Then when it was time for the bill, we were told that they would only separate the check for a maximum of 6 (there were 7 in our party), so we had to sit there and divide the check up for the server, which I thought was crazy. To top that off, they automatically charged the gratuity to everyone’s check. I was also startled to find out they charged me $25 for a less than 8 oz margarita ($22 for some premium liquor, I don’t know what kind; then an extra $3 for them to add margarita mix to it). All that said, we had a nice time fellowshipping and celebrating my special day despite the issues. Not sure if I would go again. I may consider going to try their brunch.

Too many issues. Great brunch concept, but had to wait too long for food. Made several requests for certain items and never got. Much better (sorry to say) brunch locations.

This was a weeknight dinner.The food just was not very impressive to any of us. The french fries were not crispy. The pierogies appetizers only came with 3. The lamb shank was fine, the burger was fine. The best thing that we had was the bread appetizer with lemon ricotta spread. It was delicious. The look and vibe of the place is great. It just feels like more effort needs to be put into the food.

Had a great brunch. Everything was so good but especially the fried chicken and cinnamon pancakes they were so yummy. Our server was enthusiastic as she took us on our culinary journey spacing out all the good food and bringing us extra when needed. The Bloody Mary was super but only needed one. We opted out of the bottomless they were very filling. Such a cool venue the old cinema with vintage pictures to see how it used to be. Will recommend for a very filling tasty brunch!!

Girls brunch was fabulous and you get your moneys worth on food! There was six of us! The girls had never been so I took them! Food is wonderful and you get to try a variety of things. Service was fantastic and our server was attentive! I like that gratuity was on there since I feel sometimes people get cheap and forget that these people live off off this money or are working students and as a mom, I gave our waiter an extra $20 on top! And I love the fact that you had the little cute helpers that brought out food! I always recommend this place as it it’s nice enough but you don’t have to dress up and the vibe is business casual! I will be back for sure!

The vibe is everything! The food is top notch. We had a wonderful food and wine pairing experience. The hostess was very accommodating. Our waitress Zoe was on point and very personable. Had a great opportunity to meet the assistant manager and was very happy w the food and presentation. Hats off to the chef and team. Love love the Hollywood restroom. !!! Nice touch ! !

The dinner at Sinema was our favorite of the entire trip. I visited this restaurant while on a work trip and not only was the food incredible, but the service was impeccable. Our server Michael was extremely knowledgeable and helped guide us to choosing the perfect entrees and drinks. Great ambiance, friendly service and a very nice spot to visit.

A must see brunch spot. The food and service are great but it’s the ambiance and experience that keep me recommending it to people. If you are a vegetarian they will accommodate you but only if you ask so don’t be afraid to speak up and ask for sides without meat (don’t just tell them you have a dietary restriction and expect them to bring vegetarian versions)
