James our server was awesome. The food was good. Calamari, gem salad, rib eye and lobster tail all was good. I would recommend.

This was my second visit, overall good vibes, the service is amazing! (Shout out to Jada) The food was excellent. From the beginning to the end everything was great! I actually forgot my purse there( and I hadn’t even had one adult beverage lol ) I called and left a message and Samantha returned my call, by that time I was frantically heading back to the restaurant, she assured me that my purse was safe. All is well!

We went to dinner at the Sheldon Inn for our anniversary. Best dinner we’ve had in a long time and the staff went above and beyond for our evening. New favorite place.

Sheldon Inn was great. This was our 1st time eating there. The food, service and ambiance was simply amazing. We eat on the terrace and there was live entertainment coming from the venue next door. It did get a little cold but the fire pitt made up for that. At the end we topped it off with their delicious dessert. We will definitely be returning. Another great restaurant to visit!!!

It was our first time at your restaurant. It was our 29th wedding anniversary and you made it special with the menu and a photo. My husband was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. He did say his steak was a little over cooked but otherwise we were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and polite. We sat outside, happy we chose it.We did recommended your restaurant to the family and friends. Thank you for such a pleasant dinner experience.

I had heard that the Sheldon Inn was a good restaurant. However, it is the best restaurant in the Sacramento area. The service was impeccable and the prices reasonable. The food was excellent. We will always come here for special dinners.

I was very disappointed for my Mother’s Day experience. Made a reservation for 11:30 am didn’t get our food until after 12:30… am over an hour wait for food. Our waiter did not even come around once to ask how our food was (probably knew we were mad) Did not even have a chilled glass for a beer had to fetch myself after he said he was going to find one. The food was cold and over priced. Not going back! Ou water boy was the great part of our experience.

It took over an hour to get our order and then food was terrible. We were there two hours and only had water refilled twice. I used to love this place. Very very disappointing.

Took 1 hour for brunch food to arrive with reservations with OpenTable, service was ok, sat is close to a loud party who kept laughing very loud regardless of celebration. The table next to us had visitors come and cramped onto our space! If our family had done that we’d be asked to leave. Keep in mind this was in Mother’s Day but we followed the rules and we were famished by the time our food was not ready. Plenty of free water! I almost regret going. Trying to support local businesses but it’s hard when you know you’re not getting what you pay for in return. Hoping for the best.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday there and he enjoyed everything! He was touched by the personalized menu and a souvenir photo.. The food was delicious end staff was very attentive! They provided excellent service! A big thank you to Shawn who was our server & the gal that kept refilling our drinks without it ever being empty. Thank you for this great first visit experience Sheldon Inn! We will be back again.

Sheldon Inn is top notch! Service is formal without being pretentious. Our server was very gracious, attentive, without hovering. The bar is definitely on their game. I had their dirty sidecar and it was excellent. Sidecar is my favorite cocktail, so this is high praise from me. Crab cakes are the best we’ve ever had- the little bit of sweet/hot pepper just tips the scales! I had their delicious pork chop, which never disappoints, and my husband had the beef stroganoff. This place is great for a fancy date night, upscale casual dining with friends, or a place to take family/friends you want to impress.

Sean was our server and he was incredibly friendly and efficient. The entire staff is so accommodating and we loved the atmosphere. the food is excellent and we would highly recommend this for any special occasion!

This was our second time having brunch at Sheldon Inn, this visit was celebrating my daughter’s birthday. We had the Loco Moco, Garden Frittata, Farmers Breakfast, and French Toast. We ordered the beignets for dessert and they are the perfect sweet treat at the end of brunch. I would have rated higher but we some dirty utensils and cups that had a funky smell in them.

It was our first time coming here since moving to the area in 2019. I brought a friend from out of town on a Thursday evening. The food was ok for the price but we felt a little abandoned out on the patio and it took a while to get our food and drinks. We saw the waiter at the beginning of the meal but really had to flag him down to get checked in on. He also seemed a little annoyed by us. As a positive it is a beautiful place and I will try the events they have.

Jada was our waitress, for my friend’s birthday brunch, and she exceeded all expectations. Our reservation was right on time and we stayed over two hours and never felt rushed. Just a lovely experience.
