Excellent happy hour that includes a food menu. One of my favorites - I’ve never had a bad experience there! Highly recommend the duck fat old fashioned if they’ve got it in stock.

Fantastic place with an unbelievably talented chef and kitchen. Fantastic cocktails. Fantastic wine to go with meals. All in all we’ve been getting to restaurants that Ganesh has been involved with for the past 30+ yrs. It would be difficult to come up with a place we could rate any higher.

We go to Silk Road for our anniversary every year, and they never disappoint. Happy hour is EXCELLENT, and the service is always top-notch.

The food was amazing and so was the service!!! I was with a large group for a birthday party. Silk Road was very accommodating and kind. I recommend Silk Road for parties large and small!

I was so pleasantly impressed with Silk Road!!! The food was SO GOOD and the atmosphere was an eclectic neighborhood wine bar vibe. It was a GREAT NOLA spot to dine!!

I went with an older female friend for their Coolinary menu. I added the wine pairing for $20. They had waters on the table ready for us before we sat down. The 2 female wait staff was attentive and friendly. It was our first time there and we will be back! The food was delicious and portions great for all appetites.

The place feels and looks great. Neat menu with an interesting mix of foods. The samosas and the chicken tikka marsala were wonderful. The braised short rib could have been the same, but was on the dry side. The low point was service. Brusque and not a real welcome feeling. We got the bill handed to us before we had decided on dessert. And keeping the silverware in between appetizers and main course is just awkward on a table with no table cloth or bread dishes.

Silk Road is a must-dine! The spot is a hidden neighborhood gem with delicious high-quality food and incredible live performances. It’s a small space so reservations are a must unless the bar is available.

We are (newish) locals and loved our first visit here! Awesome food, excellent cocktails and wine (generous pours!), plus live music in a fun neighborhood not overrun with tourists.

Fantastic place with fantastic food and service. Not just Indian fare. Great fish dishes, pork chops, ribs, has it all. Ganesh is a fantastic self taught chef with a PhD in microbiology who left that career to start cooking and we’re delighted with that decision!

Service was outstanding. Delicious and generous sized cocktails and tasty food. Sat near the live entertainment so it was hard to hear others at our table. That being said the singer was quite good and performed a long set.

Excellent dinner. Large portions. Ambiance was fantastic but the service was a little slow. Waiter was outstanding he was just busy. Outside of that this was a perfect Valentine’s Day dinner. Will definitely go back.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Such a beautiful setting! We went for valentines day and it seemed like they were not prepared for how many people had reservations for the evening. Our server kept coming to our table and asking us what he was missing and then running away to get it. Would recommend highly on not such a busy night.

We had the crab bisque, and the duck and they were both delicious. If you are in this part of town, don’t hesitate to eat. We are definitely going back.
