The food, ambience and service were excellent! Best restaurant experience I’ve had for quite some time. I would definitely recommend the Sawmill Stony Plain to anyone wanting a more fine dining experience without the really high prices.

I would avoid going during Mother's Day brunch. I made reservations but had to wait almost 30 minutes, while four others with reservations and at least 1 who previously reserved for 4 but needed 6 were seated before us.

Steak was cooked to perfection. Kobe burger perfect. Still seems expensive for what you get. Eating out is a treat. It's costly no matter where you go.

Service was amazing. Our server Megan was very attentive, polite, friendly and anticipated our needs. Music was too quiet and you could hear other people's conversations. Steaks were cooked to our liking but the crab stuffed mushrooms could have been much hotter. Bacon wrapped scallops were tasty. The red potato mash was yummy. 2 things we would suggest - lessen the spiciness of the baked beans and the corn succotash and leave the seafood whole in the seafood oscar steak topping. The Sawmill is definitely a place to go to for a celebration but not somewhere to eat all of the time because of the cost. Great evening had by all.

A great place for an evening out. The meal has a slower pace, and the dining area is a mix of elegance with rustic (think wood / sawmill) and quiet which serves well for conversation. The service was great. Had the fig and bacon appetizer (awesome) and the Undecided entree with steak, ribs, shrimp. Garlic Mashed potatoes....SO good. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome anniversary dinner. Our waitress was outstanding. We love going to the stony plain location we have been going to this location for 10+ years. Best location ever.

We always love going to Sawmill to celebrate family birthdays. Even though we did experience a mishap with our glass of pop, our server was so helpful in providing serviettes and assistance in cleaning up a puddle of pop all over our table. We did try 4 different appetizers and thoroughly enjoyed all of them even though we found them extremely pricey. We all had various choices of prime rib and steaks which was our focus for coming to Sawmill, the four of us preferred to have them hot. Nevertheless we will be back to the Stony Plain Sawmill.

We have always had exceptional meals but was disappointed in the beef at the carving station was tough and could not cut or chew. Hard to say if we will do brunch again.

This was our first time going for brunch. We normally go for supper. There was a great selection of food, which was delicious. They even have a station where they make custom omelets and deliver right to your table. Be prepared that the omelets are large. The deserts are amazing! Definitely a great value. If you go for supper and love Chocolate and Caramel be sure to try the Decadent Chocolate Dome desert for two! Our waitress Maxine, never disappoints. We've had her as our server before and she's always there when we need her. Can't say enough good things about the Sawmill in Stony Plain. If you're looking for great meals, good value and intimate atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Had reservations for 7. They sat us at a small table beside a wall by the waitress hub, whilst all other couple were given a large table with unobstructed views. The prime rib was as tough as any we have ever had. In short will never return to this restaurant, enjoyed it the first time a year ago, was so so last time we visited six months ago and has now reached bottom on our restaurant recommendations.

Been a few years sine we've been to the Sawmill and not sure why. The food is aways great. The staff are very friendly and do an excellent job. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely start be back and highly recommend.

Made some last minute reservations for a birthday for 5:15 on a Saturday night. We We were promptly seated and very well taken care of. The food was prepared quickly and was very well done. The service was the best I have received in a very long time. A very good evening! We will be going back.

The waitress was very nice and made sure we were all content and made sure we were happy with the meal. Great experience for sure. My wife and kids all enjoyed the meal and we all left very satisfied. We have been to this restaurant many times and always have a great meal and a great experience. We’ll be back for sure.

Usually always a wonderful time with family, top-notch food, and over the top service. There was 9 of us. We noticed a couple smaller than normal food portions compared to past visits. It was a freezing cold week-maybe they had issues with salad supplies. We noticed gas service workers on the outside up on the roof of the kitchen area when we left…. Looks like they were having some cold-weather problems that evening maybe.
